2011 - Odd as it may sound, this photograph of Payipadan and the subsequent few are of the men I've met when I stalked the usual attendance of the bar across the river in my home town back in 2011. Locally these are known as the 'Kalu Shaapu' with stocks of the locally brewed liquor.With a jumpy camera and a lot of patience I looked into their more unconventional way of life.
