Quick little PB+J becuase I was inspired.
Only instead of aging them up they're cute little kids because that's also fun.
Ponyboy is 5 and Johnny is 6-7
.....
Johnny walked home and smiled. "Hey, remember that day at school?"
......
Ponyboy was playing the school yard with some friends while his big brother Sodapop played with his friends. He wasn't sure where Darry was, but it didn't really matter to Pony, Darry was mean anyways (he had broken his figurines the other day!)
Pony looked around after his friends left and saw a little boy with messy dark hair sitting on the sandbox, drawing in it with a stick.
Pony walked over to the boy and peered over, smiling. "Its pretty good. Still needs some details though. Here." He took the stick and added onto the boys landscape drawing, adding snow to mountains and such.
The boy looked on wide eyed. "Wow!"
"My name is Ponyboy." Pony grinned.
"Ponyboy? My name's Johnny..." The dark-haired boy responded.
"That's a nice name." Pony said.
The two crawled into the sound and played for a while before Pony turned to Johnny. "You're pretty, for a boy."
Johnny gave a small blush. "Thanks..." He mumbled embarassed and flattered all the same.
A mean woman came and grabbed Johnny shortly after, dragging him away.
....
They held hands around school all the next day, but the mean woman came and grabbed Johnny with a mean scowl on her face.
...
Johnny never dared touch Ponyboy again for years unless it looked platonic. It wasn't until they were in their 20s did Johnny dare again.
And if course, by then it didn't matter, becuase they were both far away from Johnny's mother and Johnny was free to do what he wanted.
"Hey, remember that day at school?" He asked, wrapping his arms around his much taller lover, muscled from his years of track.
"How could I forget?" Pony grinned.
There’s nothing wrong with eating 20 PB&J sandwiches in a week. Except, you know, nutritionally speaking...

We apologize for the wait to answer this! Like previously mentioned, Potato is essentially a very intelligent cat. We’ve done our best with him though we seem to have spoiled him beyond repair. Not that that’s out of character for a Cat of course
PB+J is named for their Jelly-Like Nature! It’s obvious just from their appearance that they like strawberries, For some reason they refuse to digest them all and always keep a couple lying around. We’re not sure why but it makes them very pretty!
Some more visits to the @slimeadoptioncenter! There are 6 more strips in the making ;3
1: Ember with Prince. He bit her hard enough for her finger to bleed. Unfortunately for him, her blood is lava.
2: Nocturne socialising with Lovecraft! He’s a bit weird, she’s a bit weird. They’re all a bit weird really. His many eyes are adorable to her and formed a little happiness creature because she found Lovecraft adorable!
3: Patty and PB+J exchanging a small lick. Prince is very offended that they are allowed to lick each other when he’s not allowed to give a not-so-friendly nibble.
4: Chi stumbled upon Polt of all slimes, and found them incredibly cute! Of course, when your boyfriend is the champion of shadows, it’s hard to spook her with simple tricks like phasing through walls. At least Valour and Dennis are enjoying themselves! Poor Polt got spooked to bits and Valour got scolded later for scaring the little slime.
Oooh, I just you let last post and it gave me an idea. Pony having an unrequited crush on Johnny headcanons?

Johnny first noticed the crush when Pony was 11 and he was 13
He thought it would go away, but it didn't.
He never really addresses it, hoping it would go away.
He still hung out with Pony since he did enjoy him and his company
The crush sometimes makes things awkward.
Ponyboy confessed the crush one evening in the lot
Johnny had had a very clear conversation with him that they couldn't work out, at least, not now
(he didn't want to totally kill Ponys dreams after all, but he also had to be real with him)
Johnny felt for Pony platonically but he didn't mind the crush.
It provided great entertainment at times.
