To have confidence in choosing your own destiny.... Bonus if you are breaking a generational trauma cycle and don't want to be like your mother.
Need:
ONE of the following, because you can only focus your energy one so many things at a time.
💀 A favorite headband, (even better if spike headband)
💀 Purple Lipstick
💀 Mascara
💀 Amethyst necklace, or ring
💀 a purple ring (doesn't have to be amethyst)
💀 A ring on chain bracelet (like she has)
💀 Or a studded cuff bracelet
-
💀 (optional) Purple or Black Dress for ritual clothing
💀 A black or purple candle (for power)
💀 Lavender herb or oil (for calmness)
💀 A video or picture of Raven Queen (you can use your phone) OR if youre good enough at visualizing, then that will do.
Steps:
💀 Taking one of the items you chose. Cleanse them.
💀 Light the candle.(s)
💀 Sprinkle lavender on the bottom of something to lay your item on, or anoint it with lavender oil.
💀 Visualize (yeah you know the drill, time to think about it until you feel something.) yourself taking charge of your life. Doing all the things you were too afraid to do, because of what other people told you you were SUPPOSED to do. Visualize what Raven Queen did, how everyone panicked and told her how wrong she was to want to follow her own story, rather than her mother's. Visualize that ability in you. Visualize the power and confidence, how it'd feel to succeed and do something without the fear of what someone else says. Following your dreams... )
💀 When you feel that ball of excitement in you, say, with absolute confidence and without fear of anyone hearing you, "This is MY story, MY destiny, MY choice. MY LIFE! I will create my own happily ever after!"
💀 Put on the item.
💀 Blow out the candles.
💀 Recharge with the lavender until you feel you may need to recharge the item.
( Emoji Spells: Mobile Sigil Magick)
Sigil magick is popular because it’s fairly simple and still creative. When creating a sigil from scratch you get to decide everything about what it means and how it looks. The difference with emoji is that you have to look at the entire spell as a sigil, rather than each individual character. You also have to concede some of the design, but for those without any artistic skill this could be a big bonus. Modern usage of the sigil is as a pictorial representation of the will or intent of your spell. The sigil represents the whole of the spell and drawing the sigil out, and then carving it on candles or burning it charges and activates your sigil. Sigils can also function like a visual affirmation when drawn on mirrors, windows, post its, on your leg in sharpie, the tag on your underpants, whatever!

Getting ready to do a spell of healing with Z/a/l/i/a/n to pray for some easing of ongoing chronic pain that's been getting me down recently. Sure hope they enjoy the sweet offering too!
Now, of course you didn´t just come to Hogwarts to play Quidditch. You are here because you want to become good witches and wizards! So, let us review a way for you to take your classes.
This spread shall help you hone your magical abilities as you delve deeper and deeper into magickal theory and magickal application.
Go on, click the Portkey. I know you want to…
I knew it!
So, back to the matter at hand. The Magic Classes Spread is meant to emulate magical learning. First, begin by actually going to a place to do the reading without being interrputed. Anyone not paying enough attention in class shall be placed in detention.
Now, let us proceed. For our next step, you want to select the class you want to attend to. That depends on the kind of magic you want to learn or improve. Naturally, you already know how to cast spells, or at least know the basic. If not, please review my “Spellcasting: An Introduction” post.
Transfiguration: When you want to deal with spells to transform a situation into another one, when you want to transfigure a mindstate. Everytime you plan to cast a spell that has the effect of transforming (metaphorically, most often) a thing into something else tell your deck you are ready to attend a Transfiguration class.
Herbology: Whenever your spell has herbs as a material component and want to improve the way you handle them in the spellcasting, please attend this class and let your deck know it before you even begin shuffling the cards. Here you will learn how to care for plants. Keep in mind that you also have to tell the deck which herb you want to use. Exert caution when dealing with venomous herbs.
Charms: Whenever you want to enchant something, create an amulet or empower yourself somehow, refer to this class. Again, tell your deck you are doing so beforehand, and also mention what you intend to enchant and why.
Potions: When you want to brew something and want to know how to make it work, tell your deck so beforehand. It is also wise to tell the deck you what you want to accomplish and the ingredients you want to use. Use common sense, do not use anything that might harm you, posion you or others.
Defense Against the Dark Arts: Whenever you want to learn how to protect yourself with counterspells or how to enact hexes, jinxes and curses, this is the class you want to attend to. Please tell the deck what you want to learn (defensive or offensive magick) so it better prepare for your needs.
Let the Class Begin:
Shuffle the deck and lay down the following spread. For this time only, I advise you to leave them face down and flip them face up one at a time:
The Class Progression shall be as follows.
Remember that your objective is to search for insights into the magical arts of your choosing. So the cards will simulate a class for our intents and purposes creating an enviroment that is conduce to insight generation and learning. It is imperative that throughout the duration of your class you still keep in mind the spell you want to cast.
For example, let us say I want to cast a spell that would rid me of someone. I have the idea on how to enact such a spell. For example, I know that I will use pen and paper and some scissors (to keep it simple). And I decide to use this spread to gather insights powerful enough to fine-tune such a spell. Maybe one of the cards shall tell me that the colors I use is important, maybe another card will tell me that I cut the paper progressively; and still another card would tell me that maybe nightime is the best hour to cast such a spell. The possibilites are many. The insights are generated within you, so keep you mind wide open and your learning spirit soaring.
Remember to have ink and a quill ready, along with a good piece of parchment!
The Actual Class:
The Theory or Blackboard: This card represents the metaphysical principle behind your spell and why it works, with simple and easy to grasp principles. We are not trying to deconstruct the universe here.
The Teaching or the Teacher: This card represents the way the theory should be applied to your spell. This is the card the highlights the most important element to your spellcasting. If having difficulty, take a moment, breathe, and keep returning to your spell. Does it have anything to do with the steps? The ingredients? The time of day? The willpower behind it?
Good Methodology: Yet more tips to cast the spell effectively. This is the part of the class when the teacher usually demonstrates how it is done. The card indicates what is the most important takeaway from proper technique.
Not found in Books: Surprising recomendations that you will never find anywhere. This is the card for out-of-the-box thinking. Very powerful stuff. Do not underestimate it.
The Caveats: The Spells´ pertinent drawbacks, which includes things that could hinder your magic, colateral damage, and magic backfire. Any good teacher knows that this is important.
The Question(s): Now, the thing with this card is that you could ask a question out loud and let the card show you an answer. BUT, you could also take the card while it is face-down and move it to the right of ANY of the previous cards to ask for clarification. You are entitled to even draw more cards from the deck for further clarification. I for one would use more than three cards total, including the one in this position.
Homework: Oh, yes, they do leave you assigments. This card signals something you should further reasearch, before or after casting the spell. This card could also indicate an aspect of this kind of magic you should meditate and reflect about. Any more insights generated this way could be important entries into your Book of Shadows or Journal.
