If Buck and Tommy were half bloods who would their Greek God parents be?
So I saw it before bed and I wanted to think about it longer
So for Tommy, I can see him as a son of Hephaestus, he likes to tinker with things if we take the car lift at home at face value, and he pilots helicopter which need a certain level of maintenance as well, and sure they probably have people specialized for that but i like to think that Tommy knows that part as well and do it
For Buck, a Hermes son maybe; they don’t stay in place and Hermes being the god of messages and information could play with Buck love of fun facts and research rabbit hole to amass as much informations as possible ?
On those winter holidays, I decided to reread the main PCJ series and found out there are about 15 more books to read, like "Heroes of Olympus" and "The Sun and the Star" among others. Is it thirst for money?
This got me so disappointed. I mean, why can't Rick get over Percy and write an independent series? It may be in the same universe, but why should he be included in the narrative at every opportunity? Just for money?
Spin-offs are cool only when they are prequels focused on side characters like "Fantastic Beasts" and "Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes", but PCJ is another case. If you have a new original idea, like a camp with children of Roman gods, you should exploit Greek gods' characters to make a new series popular. Just let them rest. Or if you really want to tell a story about what happened to Percy after the main series, just WRITE A DIRECT SEQUEL OMG...
Why should I buy your new books just to investigate what happened to the main characters of your previous "independent" series? Sounds like "the greed race with no self-respect" to me.
P.S. I love the series so much, both now and as a child. But I feel like I can’t continue anymore. I need a finished story with clear morals and conclusions. By the way, the new adaptation is great! Love all the actors and characters so much (Clarisse actress’s outstanding, love her a little more, sorry, can’t do anything about it).
P.P.S. After a few (actually half a year after I posted it) months of deep processing within my soul I came to the conclusion I was TERRIBLY WRONG. I actually read some of the new books - they are great!!! And as long as they are, Rick should continue. Sorry for being a little whiny girl !!
she always queening!
I so much enjoy the fact that we all collectively get excited with the new percy jackson movies and delete every evidence of the old ones

Weiss: is it a monster?
Ruby: *gasp* it's a squirrel!
*Ruby starts talking to the squirrel*
Blake: Ruby, are you talking to a squirrel?
Ruby: hey, be nice! This squirrel knows every corner of the woods, maybe he can help us!
Yang: really? Cause I think that seems kinda nuts...
Ruby: *gasp* you hurt his feelings. Tell the squirrel you're sorry.
Yang: I am not saying sorry to a squirrel.
Blake: *sigh* she's very sorry, tell the squirrel you're sorry Yang.
Yang: okay okay I am sorry.
