Anyone have any good tips to dealing with PCOS? Like I do the typical “period pain relievers” like ibuprofen and a heating pad but the cramping is so bad that those barely help. I’ve been on metformin and birth control in the past too and didn’t see much of a difference with those either. This period was two months late and hit me like a truck out of nowhere this morning so I’m pissed.

So, doctor is changing me over to the depo-provera injection to help with my PCOS instead since it has less risks for me, but the only things I can find about it online are all negative and I’m not sure it’ll be worth it.

Anyone ever been put on that with/for PCOS?

Can you recommend some supplements I can take to relieve my PCOS symptoms? Like acne, facial hair and weight loss? I have metformin to help but I was curious if there were some other remedies you’ve tried that you like!

Weight loss Advice For PCOS??

Hello my “Cysters” LOL, I am struggling to lose weight... I really would love to lose another 15-20 pounds, but my body is making it seem impossible to lose any..

I have cut back eating tremendously due to my medication making me lack an appetite, but I was wondering what has been everyone’s most successful approach for losing weight with PCOS?

I just got my period and it hurts soo fucking bad, I ended up having to leave work early. I have an appointment tomorrow with my obgyn, I really like her so far, she's the only one that has taken me serious and had me do some testing so they could diagnose me with pcos. I'm going to ask her if I can do some testing to see if I have endometriosis because this pain is extremely debilitating. I'm kind of nervous and I hope she continues to take me seriously but I'd appreciate any helpful feedback on getting diagnosed.

What are some tips for losing weight with pcos? I'm a vegetarian, but I need a list of foods that are okay to eat with Pcos and that help you lose weight, but that are cheap. Any meal plans you would be willing to share would help too, I've done so much research and it's so difficult.
