I am currently between jobs due to my previous workplace closing unexpectedly, and have been struggling to find something else. So far I've been able to get by on selling my belongings and donating plasma but have been struggling a lot this month.

With an upcoming lease renewal, utility bills, high food prices, and the constant costs of pet supplies my bank account has gone into the red. Anything would help at all, even just sharing this post! Mental illness truly is in the genes because what do you mean me, my brother, mom, AND grandma are all having major depressive episodes at the same time and have been having to hang out together to regain any level of sanity. Day #1 officially jobless because my job of 3 1/2 years told us the store was shutting down 2 weeks ago 🥳 Finally getting over the spiral from depressed to manic that news sent me into and starting to get shit done.

Anyone wanna hire me or down for a platonic marriage? I spent all day cleaning and made steak, Brussels sprouts, and zucchini bread so I think I'd be a good house husband lol. Current plan is filing for unemployment, donating plasma, and selling a bunch of stuff on eBay until I can find a new job.

Worst anxiety feeling might be getting the nerve to schedule 3 appointments and ending the calls with 0 appointments...

DMV literally said no when I tried to schedule for a real ID. Which y'know I get they're overbooked and I have a passport so whatever I'll wait a bit longer.

Primary care physician has to check if they're even ALLOWED to prescribe me birth control since they're a catholic organization. The only reason they didn't outright say no is because I'm not sexually active and want it for PCOS/skin reasons. They are one of the only places in an hour radius that takes my current insurance. Might just drop them and go somewhere else at this point no matter the distance.

Dermatologist made me put a request in through the website so we'll see when I hear back about that.

I love that the one person I never feel bad about texting late is my grandma. It could be 11pm and I know she'll still be awake and answer my text within 5 minutes. Who needs a bedtime when you're 85! And despite that she'll still be up early going to the health club for Zumba 🤣

My 3 and 6 year old cats have specific motions they do when I get within a 4 foot radius of them and it's the cutest thing ever. The 3 year old immediately rolls over to show his belly to be pet and the 6 year old starts doing a head bobble and slow blinking in preparation for forehead kisses. So I gotta pet and smooch these dweebs every single time I walk past them even if I wasn't planning on it lmao. Spoiled rotten over here 🙄
