Animal crossing, especially with all the new customization options, is yours to design. It's your game. You can do whatever you want, how ever you like, without having to think about what others think.

If you want to build a cozy Village, go for it. Secluded forest witch? Sweet! Pure luxury mansion on a hill? Yeah! All of the above? You go rich neighborhood herb lady!

It does not matter why you decide to do so. Whether you want to try something you can't otherwise experience or build it so it feels like the home you are used to, it's your game. It is a game. Let me repeat that, a game.

Games are made to experience things free of everyday limitations. You don't owe anyone any explanation. This game specifically was made to feel less alone, and is known to ease anxiety and stress.
