“PEACE” & “POOLSHARK.”
🕊️ Born, raised, and enlisted within his home country of Romania, over the years had Ghenadie made a gnarly reputation for himself within the country's armed forces, where combat on the ground was his specialty. Such was how he earned his callsign, “Peace,” as the irony of Romania stoking the flames of war for prosperity had been sown deep into his brain. Though, in spite of having made a name for himself in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Ghenadie defected from Romania, and NATO, in its entirety, for reasons unclear. 🎱 Both a former and current chief petty officer aboard the U.S.S. Essex, Gary's reputation comes from a long line of competence and effective leadership, even before he was appointed to the U.S.S. Essex; starting from the moment he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. A relatively broken man, disabled from birth, Gary saw a silver lining in the military, having been offered surgery and cybernetics in exchange for his service, which became effective in the spring of 2004. Gary's callsign, “Poolshark,” is highly reminiscent of his existence as a crack shot, as he is somehow still living in peak health despite lacking a tongue, throat, and esophagus.
