As a mom, I learned from my mom, that the best tool in your mom tool belt is a very all encompassing kind of sense of humor. Basically, you better get good at laughing at things. Find something/anything you can giggle at when all else fails and it's that or losing your shit and losing your shit is a gamble in forever altering relationships in a damgerous way and Im personally on the "world peace train" which is what I'm calling being one of the people actively deciding toward and acting to make this world a safer place. Growing up all angsty and protected by the invention of the concept of "human rights", free from oppression in the super outright sense, we looked for it where it still existed in smaller places. "Where am I still not free? Where can my equal be more equally equal for me and anyone really...." The evolution of a kind of protection the ancient world couldn't imagine. A networking of people across invisible frameworks that instantaneously translate and create and allow us to virtually procreate. Protected by information sharing. Able to communicate without a face to face. The dangerous virtual world, the anonymity has a safety net quality that is connecting Eeeeeverybody. Know what I think is coming? A right to online access. A right to knowing if the people you were born to are isolating, or lying to, you. A right to talk to people one on one around the world and share ideas. Oh, nonviolent world of community, I see you. I know you are arriving. Love your babies, be kind, patient and loving to everyone you meet.
