About Spirit: (by @itz-pandora) Spirit was made in a lab, being a combination of Sonic and Shadow’s DNA. Shadow and Rouge took Spirit (and his younger sister, Spitfire) from the lab they were created in, and Sonic and Shadow decided to co-parent the kids together. Spirit was made for the purpose of seeing ghosts, which only becomes apparent as he gets older. Because of his ability to see ghosts, he gets to know his aunt Maria! (She’s the soul shown in the picture). Spirit is a smart and sweet guy, and he’s physically weak compared to everyone else.
About Ruby: (by @peachvixen) Ruby is the first child of 2. She was originally going to be the one to protect the master emerald when Knuckles can no longer but, she decided to instead leave and go attend high school to build her social life. Her little sister, Wren, had then been the one to protect it. Ruby and Wren have never been on the greatest of terms, both hating each other when Ruby visits the island. Ruby has met a few people off island, two of which have grown to hate her and one fearing her. She has the same amount of strength Knuckles has and uses her strength to beat up people.
Here is a prompt: (not sure if you have done this) Tails staying up to late in his workshop and Sonic coming to make sure he sleeps.

------------------
Tails was exhausted.
Which, of course, is probably because he’s still awake, even though it’s a few hours past midnight.
Again.
But, is it really his fault?
Tails thinks it isn’t as he pours his 8th cup of coffee. He’s working on something important, after all. He has to put in the extra work to get it finished! What if Eggman attacks and he ends up needing it, but it’s incomplete?
Convinced that’s a good reason to skip out an entire night of sleep, the little fox sips his coffee as he makes his way back into the workshop.
There’s only a few things left to do, anyway. It’d be pointless to sleep now, he’d only end up getting a few hours of rest, so what was the point?
Tails rubbed at his eyes as he returned to his seat at his workbench, setting his drink down on the nearby coaster.
Sonic absolutely hates that coaster.
Which was fair, it was ugly. It was a piece of knockoff merch with the highspeed hedgehog’s face badly printed on it.
The kit smiled to himself at the memory of his brother’s reaction when he first saw the coaster.
Speaking of, though, Tails hadn’t heard from Sonic in a while. He hopes he’s okay.
He takes a breath, letting the thought slip into the darker corners of his mind. He needed to focus if he wanted to get this invention done.
He gets lost in his work easily, a couple more hours slip by without him noticing.
He’s so close to finishing. He just needs to–
There’s the slightest bit of noise behind him and, in a panic, he throws the tool he was currently using–a socket wrench–in the direction of it, assuming it had been a badnik.
Which he then regrets a second later, when he realizes who made the names.
“Jeez!” Sonic stared at the wrench as he jumped out of the way, watching it crash into the wall, making a decent sized hole, “I knew you had a good arm, but a wrench? Really?”
Tails lets out a heavy sigh, already feeling his heart slow it’s beating at the sight of his hero, “Chaos, Sonic, what are you doing? I nearly hit you with that!”
“What am I doing?” The teen questioned, raising an accusing brow, “What are you doing?”
“What?” The kit asked with his brow furrowed.
“Last I checked, it was aboutt,” Sonic trailed as he glanced over at the computer the younger kept in the workshop, “seven hours past your bedtime, mister.”
Tails’ ears perked up as he hastily checked the time on his watch, frowning when he realized his brother was right. His ears pinned back against his head, and he refused to look at the other.
The hedgehog sighed and tugged the socket wrench out of the new hole in the wall, walking over to the fox's main workbench, "C'mon, let's get you to bed."
Tails hummed for a second before shaking his head, “Not tired.”
Sonic snorted, “Sure, bud.” He set the wrench on the workbench, placing a hand on the other’s back to gently usher him out of his chair.
The kit groaned, but he did slide out of his chair, leaning against the older as they made their way out of the workshop.
Sonic was a little surprised at how little of a fight the fox was putting up, but he definitely wasn’t complaining.
When they made it to the bedroom, the hedgehog quickly helped his little brother take off his shoes before tucking him under the covers.
“Sonic?” Tails grumbled, blearily blinking up at the teen.
“What’s up, pal?” Sonic responded in a low voice, sitting on the side of the bed.
“How do y’ always know to come when ‘m stayin’p?” The kit yawned, his exhaustion quickly taking over.
The teen snorted at the question and shrugged, “Big bro stuff. It's a secret.” He said with a wink, earning a frown in return.
“It’s dumb.” Tails grumbled before his eyes fell shut, the last step before he would finally fall asleep.
“Uh huh,” Sonic rolled his eyes, a fond smile on his face, “well, I do apologize for making sure you have a good sleep schedule.” He added in a whisper, bringing his hand up so he could lightly rub the fur between the kit’s eyes with his thumb.
The younger mumbled something, but it was just a slurred mess, so the hedgehog just hummed in response, keeping up the gentle strokes until the other’s breathing evened out.
Sonic stood up and shut off the lamp on Tails’s beside table, glancing back at his brother when he reached the door, watching for a few seconds as he peacefully slept.
‘Not tired, huh?” he thinks, shaking his head before stepping out of the room and gently closing the door behind him.
