The fact that Verlaine's name showed up in my research for book publishing in Meiji-Japan was more foreshadowing than I expected. Bc that was last week and now we have Verlaine in the main manga, like WHAT. What are the odds for this to happen?????

I mean, the rest of the cast? Mori, Kouyou, Kyouka, etc., not surprising, it was their time period, but Verlaine mention in my texts and then him showing up in BSD main manga??????????

This is the sentence in Chapter 27 of Legendborn after Patricia's ancestors snatch up Bree. We see Valec being born and the vision with Patricia's sister.

On its face, she's just talking about how she's connecting her vision of Valec's birth with Sel but the sentence structure out of context implies it's about Sel. This is brilliant.

Also note that this early in Legendborn, even in the memory walk she just came from, she has not seen any man not even Isaac yet, with red eyes. You can make the conjecture that she would assume that goruchels/crossroads men would also have red eyes since the isels she's seen so far have them but why would she assume that?

Tracy's mind is just brilliant. She's been telling us about book 2 and 3 all along.
