the pearly parakeet, also known in aviculture as the pearly conure, is a small parrot endemic to north-central brazil. they are a vocal and gregarious species, known for their loud screeches when in flight with their flock. they are highly social, and in captivity, tend to do well with a same-species companion. they primarily feed on fruits in the wild, although their dietary habits haven’t been heavily recorded. both sexes are equally colorful, with small variations in color & patterns across subspecies.

This was my entry for the mount design contest for Riders of Icarus a while ago. It wasn’t chosen among the winners, but I’m still quite happy about this griffin. After all, the colors are based on a Pearly Conure.

I am so over the moon I just can't believe it. Bois are in their new cage relaxing and enjoying some snacks. Surprisingly Taco was the first to come over it of the old cage and actually came over and got some treats! Burger was next and I actually had to go over and get Sushi from the cage and put him on the new one 😂😂. Proud mumma moment, hard work pays off to make sure the birds have the best life possible!! Also look how red taco has gotten! All the bois have gotten the most gorgeous rich colours!!
