BAW BAWWHHH I was on my LJ for some ridiculous reason and I just saw the comment Carrie left on my request-to-friend-me post and it's so fucking NICE and CUTE and like ALL THE THINGS THAT I WOULD SAY TO YOU and golly, I just miss the heyday of the 1-sentence memes and the fun craziness of this fandom before those two dumb boys actually got together. 

I wanna do a 1-sentence meme but only if all the old crew comes back. Grey, Carrie, Lucie, Isabella. Elsje, Megan, all of you. This fandom has meant so much to me the past couple of years and I want to just celebrate and play.

o    Do you have any secret future dreams that you don’t share with anyone in real life?

Erm... not that I can think of..? I mean there is stuff that I only tell a select few people/person but that’s just because no one wants to hear me babble about the number of kids I want and the fact I hope they’re all boys because I wouldn’t know what to do with a girl! (I know that sounds awful but I genuinely think I’d be an awful mum for a girl...) Oh dear... I seem to have strayed from the question... let’s move on!

    o    Out of your favourite celebrities, who would you rather snog, marry or kill (i’m sorry)?

THE HARDEST BIT IS DECIDING 3 CELEBRITIES! Ok... I’m gonna go with Darren Criss, Chris Colfer and (ohmygosh why is this so hard?!) Matt Smith...

Marry – Darren (he’s so adorable and I’ve always wanted a puppy)

Kill – Chris (I’m so sorry! But they both have childlike puppy eyes and I just couldn’t... I’m so sorry... I love you I promise!)

Well we have 3 fish; Diego, Shinichi and D’Artagnan. I also foster for the RSPCA so I have a little Dutch bunny called Buddy!

    o    Where are you from? Is it nice where you’re from, and do you still live there now?

Well, I’m from England... I was born down near London... then moved a little bit north at about 2 to Bedfordshire... then I moved up to Manchester when I was about 5... It’s alright here but it rains a lot... from what I remember I like Bedfordshire the best...

    o    Do you ever wish you have a friend who you could write letters to?

YES!

    o    What’s your most embarrassing moment?

Errrr... I’m constantly embarrassed because I’m really shy so I don’t really remember any specifics... I’m usually freaking out too much to commit things to memory... what I’m thinking of now is the times our families tease me and the guy I like about ‘us’...

    o    What’s your favourite home meal?

This is mean, man... I love the lasagne my mum makes but I also love when we get to have steak and rice and mushrooms every now and then! Can I pick two? No? Tough!

    o    How about favourite fast food/take out meal?

There’s this chicken place called Ollies in my village and it’s just AMAZING! (they also do really good pizza)

    o    Where do you wish you lived?

I’ve always wanted to live in Australia (probably the east coast) but recently I think somewhere out in the south of Africa... in a house out in the middle of a game park would be awesome!

    o    Could you name something from your bucket list?

I really need to make a bucket list... erm... I’d really like to work with lions one day? Just to up close enough to really see them and maybe touch them and hear them roar... that would be so awesome...

    o    What’s your favourite myth or legend?

I don’t really know any so I’m gonna have to say the Arthurian legend!

Pirates [CrissColfer Week #3]

Off the Map - this one is a lot shorter and drabblier and it's not quite as cute as I imagined it being BUT WHATEVER

“And I shall call this land…Darrenopolis!” Darren perches on the edge of the ‘ship’, hands on his hips as he surveyed his new land. His first mate came up next to him, one eyebrow raised slightly in bemusement.

“Uh. The opolis. It comes from the same root word as ‘Christopher’.” Darren tried to nod sagely, but he knew he was bullshitting, so he just laughed. “Um. What should we call it then?”

Chris moved to stand next to him, wobbling slightly as he balanced on the ‘ship’. “How about Land of Christopher?”

Darren scoffed. “That’s just dumb.” Darren looked out over the ‘land’, narrowing his eyes playfully, before readjusting the ‘cape’ that made him captain, then fell back on the couch, bringing Chris with him.

“How about we name it Chrisren Land,” Darren said, nuzzling into Chris’ neck and making him laugh.

“Chrisren? Now you’re just making stuff up,” Chris teased, leaning into the cuddle. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and they’d been off Glee for over a month, and Darren’s tour was finally over and they were finally together again.

Darren had wanted to celebrate by having a lot of sex, and then making a fort and playing Pirates. So that’s what they did—in that order. Darren had found an old blanket and tied it around his neck, then found a vest for Chris. He had used a glass as a telescope and the couch as his ship—and he’d only fallen off the arm once, which led to an incredibly dramatic rescue, before the aligators could get him and turn him into Captain Hook.

“I missed you,” Chris said against his curls, humming a relaxed sound when Darren kissed at his neck. “So much. I’m so proud of you.”

“I missed you too.” Darren answered, tightening his grip on his boyfriend without even thinking about it. They’d been gone too far for too long. “You know what your Captain wants to do now that we’ve discovered Chrisren Land?”

“What?” Chris asked, a faint hint of amusement evident in his voice, since he was pretty sure it would involve the first mate being very very naked.

“Order Chinese,” Darren said, surprising him with a big, winning grin. “I didn’t get to eat any good takeout food on the tour and I love that place down on 3rd and—”

Smiling now, Chris leaned down and kissed him silent, already fumbling for his phone beneath the mess of pillows and sheets that had been their fort a few hours previously.

“I have their number. Don’t worry about a thing, babe.”

“That’s Captain Babe to you.”

Chris laughed and kissed him again. “Sorry. Don't worry about a thing, Captain Babe.”
