Urban hike in Dallas! Looked up at buildings and down at flowers, learned a lot at the Sixth Floor Museum, watched sunrises and sunsets, ate our weight in barbecue, and wandered way out of the city in search of breweries. (Don’t worry, we found some great ones!) Fun weekend trip to a new city!

I thought we’d be eating BBQ a lot more frequently than we have. We lucked out and walked up to Pecan Lodge as they were opening for the day and were seated with our food within 15 minutes of arriving.

Have enjoyed visiting many of the Texas Monthly Best BBQ restaurants. Normally we avoid the lines by visiting during the week, but here we ate on Saturday and stood in an hour long line at the Pecan Lodge. Definitely worth the wait!!
