Just a beginning to some “for fun” stuff I’m doing. As baseball season is now in full swing... no pun intended... I decided to choose a player in each position that I like from any team, except I am not doing a Designated Hitter, and the design for the Pitcher is just one particular pitcher, not a starter/reliever/closer. These are two of the handful I’m doing and I’m currently working on a third. 

At second base, on my non-hometown team favorite team is the legendary Dustin Pedroia. Actually I’m quite excited about the Red Sox as my fiancée got tickets to the Red Sox at the Mariners game this summer for a late birthday present!

At catcher we have here the famous Buster Posey. I’ve always liked Buster Posey, and when I was coming up with my list for this for fun project, I considered Joe Mauer for catcher, but he’s been playing 1st base for the past few years, so he’ll be coming up soon in a later finished product.

Currently I’m working on the most awesome 3rd baseman in the league... my hometown team, the Seattle Mariner’s, Kyle Seager.
