no bc one last stop cartinelli au: angie as the diner waitress considering leaving all the time for a fresh start until she meets peggy (trapped from the 1950s) and falls in love but peggy was engaged to someone and had a life back home and doesn’t know whether to stay or to go!!! this could 100% have woc peggy too but still have her be british and have moved to america for reasons and then kind of become a nomad similar to jane PLUS 1950s gay club scene in chinatown (LA) !!
