Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

Hmm, I stopped watching Once Upon a Time/left the fandom because the show was just kinda, um, to put it lightly, falling off the deep end. I’ve pretty much fallen out of the doctor who fandom because ever since the eleventh doctor left the show just hasn’t been the same for me, and I was never really a huge part of that fandom before anyways. Sherlock, I’m not really sure why, I just kinda have never stuck with the fandom?? I don’t know, I don’t have anything against the fandom or anything, it was just never a big part of me???

the ol*city fandom- this just hit me but I used to be a huge part of the fandom, but honestly, the fandom ended up being part of the reason I’ve stopped shipping ol*city, there’s way too fucking much drama in the arrow fandom and most of it is ol*citers fighting lauri*ers and visa versa and honestly I’m just so done with it all if I’m completely honest, it’s the good people in the arrow fandom that have kept me from leaving it. shout out to all the awesome arrow fandomers who are good people!

yes! i feel like i have never loved a character as much as i love petra, she is so layered and flawed and lovely and i adore her. i have family (my sister and my sister-in-law) who are watching jtv from the beginning and who hate petra rn and i’m 1/2 “i have been there, i get it, it’s totally understandable” and the other 1/2 is “how could you hate my sweet sweet wife? how could you insult her in front of me? the nerve!” #teampetra

1. what was the last movie you saw? i finally saw love actually for the first time a week and a half ago. my friends want to watch it with me again a second time so we can all have feminist rants about it.

2. What was the last song you listened to? "on my mind” by ellie goulding was playing on my car radio tonight.

3. What was the last show you watched? i’m finally watching the pride and prejudice miniseries for the very first time and i am IN LOVE.

4. What was the last book you read? the taming of the shrew, if we’re counting plays. otherwise, the last book i read was the goldfinch by donna tartt.

5. What was the last thing you ate? a little bit of cheese

6. If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be? i would be back at my house drinking wine with my friends and sorority sisters. i really, truly miss everyone at school and don’t really think of my parents’ house as my home anymore.

7. If you could pick a decade to travel back to in time, what would it be? i would love to go back to the 1920s, if we’re talking about the 20th century. otherwise, take me back to the rococo era (france, imperial russia or england), with its style, intrigue and revolutions. i mean, it’s the dawning of the modern era!

8. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you’d do?

i’d probably plan a grand trip around the world for me and a couple of close friends and my sister, and i’d hire tutors to teach us as many languages as possible before we left so we could have all the adventures we wanted!

9. Which fictional character would you like to hang out with?

probably shahrzad al-khayzuran, lizzie bennet, octavia blake, or laurel lance

hamilton and marvel’s jessica jones. i have become utter trash for both.
