@peggys-orders gets and AU where Peggy catches Steve in her office
They were separated by glass, he was so close but he still couldn't reach out to her. Still he watched her, unable to help himself, she was so beautiful even now.
He was about to turn and go, when she suddenly looked up, right into his face. In an instant, Steve's heart stopped, he couldn't move. Could she see him?
Fast Forward
Inventory was a welcome distraction. Hell, anything that didn’t allow Steve to relive the events in Wakanda was a welcome distraction. He took his time to stay as busy as possible, even taking to micromanaging the goings on at Avengers HQ.
Steve had resolved to finalize the inventory of gear that was left behind by those that had been taken by Thanos’ actions. they were going to need to keep it after they hunted down Thanos and undid his so called perfect universe.
Just when Steve thought he was alone at the base, an alarm started going off. There’d been a breach, something had appeared and didn’t even set off the peremeter sensors.
“That better be what I think it is,” Steve said to himself as he sprinted through the base. Of course the alarm would be coming from the storage area. Someone must have been trying to get at the avengers gear in a time of crisis when there wouldn’t be anyone around. Too bad for them Steve was there and could lock the base down.
“My point is, you’re distracted, and that makes me nervous.“
“Distracted? By this collection of peasants who call themselves Alpha Flight,” he replied incredulously. “*Perhaps* if I was dealing with the intellect of Steven Strange or Reed Richards, I might be considered distracted. This,” he retorted with a grand sweep of the arm from the balcony at the melee below; Doomstadt Elites and Servo-Guards (Model III-b) facing off against Guardian and Sasquatch; the other team members were scattered throughout the Castle, “used to be regular enough that I could mark my calendar by it. I have not even had to personally intervene yet.”
“What in the world?”

“It’s an alien space ship,” the Doctor told her, approaching from behind, “From a galaxy on the other side of the universe that traveled very far to get here. I wonder what they might want.” He smiled, realizing he hadn’t introduced himself yet. “I’m the Doctor. Who are you and what might you be doing in the middle of nowhere? I assume you weren’t scoping out this space ship.”

The feather-light touch on the back of his hand, made him realize just how tightly he was holding on to her hand, Thompson had made some crack at Peggy’s expense and Steve saw read.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured loosening his hold on her hand, but not letting go.
“Let’s go home, Peggy. You don’t have to stand here and listen to this.”

Before Steve traveled back, he had done some research about here Peggy was living. He was not only returning the stone, but he was about to do what he had always dreamed of doing, getting out there and winning over his true love. Some time had passed but perhaps he still had a chance.
Of course she had to be living in a womans residence, which made his surprise so much harder. The only way he was getting in was by climbing through the window. He climbed to Peggys floor and tried to open her window, it was locked so he went to the next available one, opening it and letting himself in. The Captain felt horrible, this was not something he would have ever done but he needed privacy and this was the only place he was going to get it. He had no place of his own anymore.
‘Excuse me!’ he heard a womans voice, turning he froze. There sat a young blond girl and the one and only Howard Stark. Why was he not surprised?
“My apologies, I’m looking for Peggy Carter. Is she around?”
“Yes.. Next room over.”
“Thank you.” He nodded and headed out the door, keeping an eye out for the woman in charge. The blond stood behind Peggys door, hands shaky and butterflies in his stomach. This was the moment he was waiting for and he couldn’t believe it was actually happening.
Lifting his hand he knocked on the door, waiting for an answer.

//I would say the most recent thing has been a friend of mine that I made about a year ago that played carol danvers, and we had so many sweet threads with her carol and my natasha. She stopped coming around late last year cuz of personal reasons in her real life and I havent seen her around anymore sadly. I miss them.

//oh yes, there was this one person that just liked to headcanon and talk about nothing but their muse and come up with all of these really out there things with a canon character. Well I usually like to do some things here and then do other things like play games or paint or something, well they would keep going and i would just reply to let them keep going. Well eventually they just flipped out because I would question them or they would be upset because I wouldnt want to headcanon with them. It was an odd experience.

//nuttiest thread i’ve head is with my carol friend, I had this thought one day about what if Natasha followed through with her threat to Steve and hit him in the head with a peanut butter sandwich so I sent them an ask where Natasha beans carol in the had with the sandwich and then takes off giggling like an idiot. it was a fun little thing while it lasted, they called it ‘being nutted’ XD
