Hello worldbuilders, I am offering a special commission tier for creature design! All artwork will be done in the same full-body, full-color watercolor style shown here. There will be no wips or corrections, but this means you get the art at a discount! Just fill out the form in the link below, and I will extrapolate from that and design your creature for you! This is ideal for those who can't find an artist who accepts text-only descriptions, or aren't sure how to write about it without seeing some kind of visual, as well as for those who would like to see a reimagining of an existing creature! >>Here’s the link to the full commission info and form!<<
Re-uploading a lot of art as I restart a lot of my old social media platforms I used to post on. Here’s a vector illustration of one of my characters, Kashika.
Name: Gadjit Species: Pehkei Age: Middle Adult Alignment: Lawful Good Backstory: Gadjit is an investigator who was recruited into a typical adventuring party. His homeland was populated by a great many variety of aliens, some of which had been resorting to what were interpreted as nefarious acts of terrorism. Over time, thanks to those groups, it was come to realize that the world they had known was nothing more than an enormous spacecraft built by a race of precursors, them having long since gone extinct, leaving the living cargo alone to develop a medieval-esque culture. After hailing for assistance, the population of the ship was rescued and assimilated into modern space-faring society as best as it was able to. Gadjit, having had a taste of adventure and feeling that the entire galaxy had been hidden from him for his entire life, set out for the stars to begin his own age of exploration. After all, space may long since have been explored, but it was all still new to him!
Name: Lavinda Species: Krat'kaha Backstory: Lavinda is Kashika's beloved pet krat'kaha, a large flying apex predator on their homeworld. Lavinda comes from special breeding, and is larger and more tamable than the wild variety of krat'kaha. To prevent Lavinda from turning on its own master, Kashika uses a combination of pheromones, colors, and long-term training to trick the beast into seeing them as one of its own. To own a predator such as this is considered a status symbol among the wealthy, and the more steps needed to maintain it, the more prestigious it is seen as.
Name: Bingo Species: Kika Age: Adult Alignment: Neutral Backstory: Bingo is an adult Kika, a species of tall, thin, long legged, exoskeleton-bearing humanoids that primarily feed on juices, nectars, blood, basically anything liquid and nutritious. Bingo became fascinated with the study of exospecies and decided to make their study focus the Kika's closest allies, the Pehkei, eventually moving to the Pehkei homeworld of Paaki as a student (after it was proven it was safe and the planet's chemistry/temp was compatible enough with Bingo's) Because of a a few loopholes in certain citizenship documents, Bingo is now a legally a Pehkei and frequently travels aboard the same station Neda and Mise basically live on. Bingo also cannot communicate verbally, instead signing with the 4 hands or writing/thinking what they'd like to say, like other Kika.
Name: Eki Species: Pehkei Age: Adult Alignment: True Neutral Backstory: Eki is a priest who took to making deciphering her god's writings her life's work. After some months of this, she pieced together that the god her village worshipped was nothing but an alien creature of flesh and blood, and had deceived them all for hundreds of years. She then made a deal with Kapa, the god. In exchange for keeping this truth from spreading among the other villagers, he was to tell her all he knew of the world he had come from. Now that she knew there were other worlds out there, and that they had life on them, she could not simply ignore that truth, after all.
