Finally got a compostable Pela case for my phone! It feels a lot flimsier than I thought it was going to, so hopefully it holds up to my clumsiness

When I got a new phone I decided to make an easy switch right away and instead of buying a plastic phone case I got a Pela Case. When I’m done with this case I can compost it or send it back to The company and get money off my next case.

I find Earth Day to be kind of an odd holiday... especially as someone who talks about eco-friendly living pretty much 24/7. Absolutely in love with my new Pela Case 🌱 it's made entirely out of plants, and without plastic! They're super lightweight, so smooth, and made out of flax. How cool is that?! Plus it's literally the most Eco-friendly phone case out there because it's 100% biodegradable and compostable too. 🙌🏽 @pelacase is big on zero waste and all of their packaging is plastic free and recycled. ♻️ PLUS they regularly donate to environmental nonprofits. 🌍 I was happily surprised to find out that these cases are made with love from my neighbours in Saskatchewan 🍁🇨🇦 I honestly cannot say enough good things about this Eco-friendly, vegan, and Canadian company. They are one that I am truly proud to support and from now on I'll never use another phone case other than my @pelacase! 🤗🌿

For Christmas my boyfriend gifted me a new phone case that I’ve been wanting for so long from @pelacase. It’s a case that is made out of compostable materials, which means when I’m done with it I can put it in my backyard compost and I won’t have to worry about it polluting the planet!

One thing I was not aware of until I received the phone case, was that they take your old phone cases back to be recycled properly. This is amazing, because my old phone case wasn’t in good shape, and wasn’t good enough to donated. I didn’t know what to do with it. •

Phone cases, like all plastics, stay on the planet for hundreds of years, and never completely go away. So I think what Pela is doing is so awesome!
