Fanart on DS9 or smth like that. This is all Andrew Robinson: the illustration on fic ‘Inside Out’ by Prevailing where Garak is undercover as Bajoran; the Illustration for Deep Dish Nine series of fanfics by now various authors where Garak is a human (alien races as human nations AU); the thought I had when found out that Andy could play Odo instead of Garak.
Also see Garak undercover as a Romulan in my ‘Edosian Orchid’ for ‘E’Vira’ series.
A super-quick piece of fanart for Inside Out by @allprevailing, aka the story that (with its ongoing sequel) devoured my last couple days. (And was probably not the best thing to read in the midst of watching the last four or five episodes of DS9, if I wanted to avoid having all the feelings all at once. I had to try and get some of them out.)
It's an AU in which Garak is a sleeper agent in deep cover as a Bajoran tailor when the events of DS9 begin, and it's long, meaty and thoughtful. Highly recommended.

The drugs are beginning to work. It's too late to stop them now. All around him, everything is changing, but he's never quick enough to see the shift. Slowly but surely, Pela Serot is coming apart.
This is an homage to Queriana's wonderful 'Inside Out', a story which imagines an Elim Garak who went into deep cover as a Bajoran tailor named Pela Serot. I highly recommend reading it.
Serot's family names and city were made up for this story, and may not correspond with what Queriana has in mind.
Many thanks for Queriana for permitting me to play in their sandbox!
The lyrics are from The Weepies' 'Little Bird'. The song can be purchased here as well as from your favourite music retailer.
being slowly killed by Inside Out......
