Apprenticeship || Paolo & Wizard
@pelagopaolo
For some reason, today, time felt weird. It was a strange feeling, one that Gale had only ever experienced a couple times in his life. It just felt like someone had disturbed the flow of time. Gale wasn’t sure why it bothered him so much. On an island full of magic users, there was bound to be a time mage somewhere in there. It was just so unexpected.
Though, the thing that bothered him most was that most time mages could use their powers without anyone really noticing. The fact that he could feel this person use their powers concerned him. He wasn’t sure what he could do about it, but that didn’t stop his curiosity as he scryed with his crystal ball to see who exactly was making time feel weird. The smoke cleared from the crystal ball, revealing a meadow and a boy that couldn’t have been any older than 12, foraging for things.
It didn’t take long to find him. By the time the Wizard had found the meadow the boy had been foraging in, the boy was still where the crystal ball said he would be. He walked up to the boy, hoping not to scare him.
“Excuse me. Are you by chance a time mage?”
Paolo is here! (picking up where I left off!)
Awesome! :D
Everyone, please follow Paolo!
Sign up Joe with Fighter boon and Reina with Grass mage boon for the tourney, please!

All in the Family
@pelagopaolo;
“Hi, excuse me, nurse? I got a call about a... a boy named Paolo?”
The nurse looked up from her paperwork, peering at Soseki curiously before her eyes widened. “Oh, you’re the boy’s father!”
“Ah, wait, ther—” But she didn’t let him finish. She was already paging a doctor and pointing him down the hallway, telling Soseki could meet him down there. He was ushered along before he could tell her there had been a mistake. He didn’t have a son.
When he got to the doctor, he said he’d be with him in a moment and that his son was in the room waiting. It wasn’t a bad fall, the doctor assured Soseki, but they didn’t have anyone else to contact. His guardian was unreachable at the moment. It was a good thing they realized Soseki was his dad once they saw the DNA match up. Once more, Soseki was ushered forward, this time with more questions than before. Their DNA matched? He really had a kid? How had he not known? And who was the mom?
The examination room was small, only having an examination bed and two chairs: one for the doctor and one for a guest. Soseki’s eyes immediately landed on the young boy, no older than ten at least, and Soseki could only stare.
Surprise! || Melody & Paolo
@pelagopaolo:
Paolo’s eyebrows raise high in surprise once he enters his friend’s home. She did say that she had something “Awesome” to show him, but for some reason he didn’t expect something like this at all.
Overwhelmed in the moment, when Paolo tried to reply anything to his friend he found his lower lip trembling too much to speak. “M-m-melody,” Paolo barely croaked out before the tears came on, and he pressed his hands to his eyes.
[★] —- Melody had been expecting a few reactions to her little surprise, all of them positive and happy in nature. Kids liked presents and birthday parties, right? So of course he’d be ecstatic... at least, that’s what she thought. Instead he was crying his eyes out -- something she had never seen from him before -- and Melody felt equal amounts of worry and guilt.
“O-oh, um...!” She holds her hands up in the air awkwardly, unsure of what to do with them as she fumbles for some kind of apology, or comforting words. “U-uh... I’m sorry! Is it because there aren’t any other people here? Did I do something wrong? It’s okay, Pao-Pao, just tell me what it is and I’ll fix it. Promise!”

§ - How would their hair gray? Or would they lose their hair first?
HAH, there would be absolutely no change. Jake’s already gone through his graying phase, I’m afraid. His hair would probably thin out a lot when he gets older, though… which would take quite a while, seeing as how he’s a half-elf and ages slower and all.
✜ - What’s their posture like in a normal situation?
Slightly slouched over, hands are always either in his pockets or crossed across his chest. Jake tends to have a very guarded and closed in posture, because of his lack of trust and comfort in the people around him.
❖ - Describe their hands.
His hands are rough and calloused, from years of fighting, hard labor, and forging. Jake sees these as his ‘battle scars’ of a sort, and proudly displays them by never covering up his hands (except when, like I said before, they’re in his pockets... or he’s wearing work gloves lol).
