Recovery

After a while, I got tired of sitting down and feeling useless. A lot of things happened at the party, but I think I remember hearing some things. I think Vincent came to me. He asked me what I was most afraid of, and I thought about it a lot. 

But now, I... I just feel angry. It was supposed to be a fun time with friends. I missed so much, and I still don't know what happened. I don't know where my friends are now, and I don't even know if they're all hurt or okay or even if more of them are dead. Relm and Mog... I was supposed to have a fun time with them but they're not even here now. Leo didn't even want to go, but now he could be really hurt. Quina was hurt even before the whole party started and I didn't even know. Serah helped me but I don't even know if she's still alive. That man with brown hair that was guarding the party... did he make it? What about that man with green hair? What about Ruby, who didn't even get to go with anyone and didn't have anyone protecting her? What about Freya and Amarant?

I don't even know why, but it just makes me so angry. This didn't have to happen.

"Next patient?" The doctor called from behind the divider while tearing a sheet of paper from her clipboard. After noting that she'd need to buy more loose-leaf soon, Litchi stepped out into the lobby, making sure that someone was there. Upon seeing the new face, she flashed her winning smile.

"Good morning." The woman greeted with a bow. "Welcome to my clinic. My name is Dr. Litchi. What can I help you with today?"
