"Mmm..." Blue shifted against the sheets slowly, the girl uneasy with the temperature of the room. "Can't...sleep..."
Whâwhoa! The damsel laughed like a royalty!
Embarrassment, and no less did astonishment taint the features of the shorter damsel, as congenial covetousness spike her heart with throbbing lambency of the desire to be feminine. A gentle gasp escaped the clefts of her tiers upon perceiving the enunciation the taller girl attempted to deliver.
âIâuh, Iâm okay! You look like the sort of girls theyâd pick to act as ghosts where I come from but actually youâre a whole lot different and a tons pretty Iââ noting her incapability to halt her words appropriately the girl frowned at her very vocable, prior to sighing and averting her tenebrous gaze.
âWhâwhat I meant to say was that youâre very feminine, Miss Rinoa!â
--It almost seemed like a crime to laugh at simple slips, but in reality, Rinoa giggled because she thought Chou was just sweet, and still attempted to relay her thoughts properly even in the face of insecurity. Rinoa really did admire people like that - it was a trait of bravery, though small and simple. Flipping her hair beyond her shoulder, she shook her head and laced her hands behind her, as she hopped forward and torso slightly bent, to let Chou know that she didn't mean anything bad by the relay of her voice. "It's okay, Chou. I understand. I guess my dress really does intimidate people sometimes," she said with thoughtful assurance, and fidgeted with her ring a moment later. "But I guess that's something I've gotta get used to... I'm fine with attempting to get along with everybody! Just a little.. fidgety, though, I have to warn you," she said with a wink. "... So, would you mind telling me where you're from? Seems like you stumbled here uncertain."
âAw, come on, you sayinâ I look outta place?â he asked, mostly just teasing. Yes, he was out of place, and though the simple black suit seemed to be just enough to let him go unnoticed by most people in most places (except at home, where everyone knew a Turk), it was still enough that people paying attention realized it wasnât a uniform for anything they were familiar with. She was obviously one of those, which made her interesting to him. âRinoa, Iâm Reno.â
--A soft laugh escaped her before she could even manage to assure him. But the thought was there, and she smirked, waving her hand at the remark this suited man made. Complexities were often found in simple banters, but she knew this guy was someone who knew how to play his cards right - whether it was most of the time or not. Rinoa then folded her arms, and observed him as she stood before him, shifting her weight. "Nice to meet you, Reno. You don't look like you're from around here. Are you lost? Or a tourist, maybe?"

Beams of light showered the flower field - portals from beyond opened, she knew. Magic wafted here, connecting with her sorceress self; definitely coinciding with the exerted effort that the skies offered down to her. Chocolate irises focused above and beyond, orbs of light drifted down and boots waded then across plains of flora, mind curious about these drifting pleasantries. Of course, the cherished flower field was not only a distant arena of memories, but more often than not it was an open invitation to souls of unknown futures. .. Once they settled upon the multi-coloured blanket, Rinoa managed to crouch down and hug her knees - just as she always would, when worried or analyzing something. Tucking a lock of ebony behind her ear, of course traced with a caramel strand, she pursed her lips for a moment before the words then tumbled out her mouth. "... Hey. Are you alright?"
Aqua turned to the young woman who greeted her. She seemed very friendly and Aqua smiled at her, hoping sheâd found another friend in this world. âOh, nice to meet you too, Rinoa. My name is Aqua.â
âIâm sort of new here, yes. I passed through once before but Iâm not very familiar with this place.â She looked around, rather fascinated by it all. She loved seeing the cities most of all when she came to new worlds. They were s unlike anything sheâd grown up with.
"--Mmhm." Giving a nod of approval as she listened, the brunette gave this cobalt-haired beauty her seal of appreciation with a smile. Timber's trains bustled with life, and the rest of the world outside gave a sense of honey-like sweetness that could only serve as music to her ears. She hoped this new visitor would like it too. "Timber's going to be a bit of a long haul for you, maybe. Probably all the noise. But soon enough you'll get comfy with all the busy-ness!" Rinoa gave a pert nod, enough to sympathize - or at least she hoped - and to purport that there was still something in the town she learned to love at a time she was trying to find herself. "..Do you need a place to stay? Sorry if it seems too sudden; I just want to make sure you've settled somehow."
âPleased to meet you.â Yet another cheerful girl to add to the list of encounters she has had in her life. Things were definitely enchanting her to adore the new path in life she paved for herself, no longer feeling burdened by anotherâs sunshine attitude. It was a breath of fresh air. âNameâs Sora.â
"Nice to meet you, Sora." Chocolate eyes focused upon heterochromic orbs, lush with the vibrancy of gentleness and flowering quiet. Rinoa managed to tilt her head just slightly, feeling a bit easier now with the idea of formal introductions placed well. "..Your eyes are really unique, too. You're the first person I know to have this attribute."
âWell, do what you want. But are you from around here? Itâs not exactly safe if you go wanderinâ around here, without any idea of where you are.â He warned to the black-haired girl. Taking a closer look at her, she didnât seem like somebody heâd seen around before, whether she was new or not. It gave him incentive to look after herâcouldnât let a pretty lady like her get hurt, after all. ââŠYouâre welcome to stay here, if youâve lost your way.âÂ
"I can take care of myself, thank you very much," the brunette prompted with a slight smile, and was about to fold her arms across her chest when she took another glance upon the blonde. He was stoic -- well, almost, nearly void of any emotion or concern but his words conveyed the complete opposite. Rinoa had learned to consider the many facets of one's personality, and try to read through them even with an initial meeting. .. She laced her hands behind, only garnering an almost wry look at him. "But does that mean you'll be showing me around maybe?" It was almost a poke at his serious demeanor; he seemed worried about her welfare somehow anyway. "And thank you! I'd love to." Rinoa glanced around at the interiors - rugged, but charming, in its own rural way. ".. Seems like someone used to stay here. I sense a lot of history within the walls."
The blonde let out a light sigh of irritation, but understanding as well. He couldnât blame the girl for wandering and being lost. Itâs not a fun timeâespecially when youâre not permitted to be somewhere. ââŠItâs okay. Iâm sorry too⊠I justâŠget a little touchy when people come here without any kinda warninââŠâ He responded apologetically as he approached the girl in a calmer manner as he reached his hand out to lightly grasp hers. ââCloud. Cloud Strife. Nice tâmeet you, Rinoa. Sorry we had to meet like this.âÂ
--"That's alright. Cloud. I think anyone who'd do the same would feel that too." A wry smile began to weave upon her rosen lips, ceasing to offer any consideration that being a trespasser was alright. Honestly enough, she was, but Cloud not shunning her away meant somethiing. Rinoa then began to wonder -- was he the only one living here? Perhaps it would be too rude to point out that he was sleeping in a bedroll and not a proper bed, but certain things held blatant meaning and it gave Rinoa the aura that this place was more than a home to him. It was something he protected; a territory he cherished... or perhaps a memory was found here. "No, no, don't be sorry!" Rinoa began to wave her hands gently at him, assuring the blonde that it was certainly alright under these circumstances. "...It's perfectly alright." Pointing at the bedroll softly, she added, "I figured you lived here too; it's my fault, I barged in. I could leave if you'd like, but I think it would be better if you could tell me more about the city." She had a way with people, but she hoped it wasn't too much.
(( Thanks for the follow back Rinny mun -nods- ))
ooc; Youâre very welcome Teefy-mun! Thanks for following back. >\w//< Hope we can write soon! And I hope youâve had a good day, or will do if your dayâs just starting. :3
--The streets were quiet. Almost empty, but most of all quiet; anything can happen when silence takes its place and the world seems to shrink into one tiny ball of darkness. Save for glimmers of streetlamps, of course -- the natural bioluminescence electricity can offer as a signal of comfort for the uneasy can be signages of guidance too. Safety is primary. Rinoa can defend herself, but not all the time -- she's admitted that, regardless of being able to at least, by half, control her sorceress powers. Though not being able to master it yet, her telekinetic ability is getting somewhere. In a world where no one knows her, however, keeping her powers tamed is better than haywire. ... And hopefully she gets somewhere. Or at least that what she hangs onto, as she knocks softly upon the doors of a quiet bar in downtown -- warm lights greeting her eyes and the gentle rotation of ceiling fans catching her attention.

Kai looked up at the newcomer and smiled from underneath the silver hood of her cloak. âHi there! Who might you be?â
--Ebony tresses swerving as she turned to gain a good look, Rinoa smiled thoughtfully as she neared the girl and extended a friendly hand. "Hey there! I'm Rinoa Heartilly. It's nice to meet you, Kai." The place seemed awfully quiet, and maybe a little too chaste than Deling... but there was a sense of magic in the air she couldn't deny. Was her sorceress side enticed?... Perhaps. But awfully curious was she that she managed to look around after shaking her host's hand. "...I guess I'm lost. Do you know where we are?"
âIâm not assuming, I can see it on your face. You do this certain smile when youâre laughing at me, donât think I donât notice,â he pointed out, but it was friendly and he was still smiling a little. âI missed you, too. Are you staying long?â
She laughed at his remark. "...You have an interesting way of reading me sometimes. But I like it. ...I'm staying for a while... The juniors need me sometimes, so I have to stay on standby." "I could fancy a walk though... you up for one?"
ââŠYouâre making fun of me. Again.â
"--There you go again assuming I am! What makes you think I'd do that all the time, mister? I have patience and the conscience to stop myself sometimes, y'know."
"...I guess I just have odd ways of showing I care and that I miss you."
ââHey.â He responded to the mysterious woman in blue, almost in a warning tone of voice, approaching her slowly. He doubted that she could pose much of a threat, but out of all the experiences heâd gone through, he knew women could fight and be as much of a threat as other men could. ââŠWhatâre you doinâ in here? This isnât exactly a public church anymore⊠You couldâve at least knocked.â He added, seemingly blunt and rude, but this place that was seen as a simple run-down church to others was more of a sanctuary of memories and peace to him. Having others raid in on that sanctuary made him a bitâŠtouchy.Â
--With all her naivety, Rinoa did think this was an abandoned Church, though a somewhat tourist spot, if not an absolute symbol of resolve for some. The holiness of it was preserved here, and in spite of its rugged features some kind souls managed to defend it in all its glory. This man, for one. Taking a step back and understanding she'd crossed the line, Rinoa cleared her throat and blinked. "Ah, I apologize..." she softly answered, though most of all it was peculiar that he seemed to think of her entry as a slight threat! She did come unhindered, after all. No permissions at first -- just that her instinct guided her to come within. It was the sight of a bedroll, and a small chest with a lantern on top, settled beside one of the pillars, that Rinoa began to conclude her thoughts. "...I didn't know someone... lived here. I guess you could... say I'm lost." A wry smile decorated upon cerise lips, her eyes gave a worried mark upon her once-calm expression. "...I'm Rinoa, though." Extending a hand, she smiled nonetheless. "Rinoa Heartilly."
