They collectively run goth_gator off twitter using right-wing and transphobic arguments, while sending him gore, for speaking out against the sexual abuse of children.

Glip is extremely cruel to victims of abuse when the abuser is someone they like

TLDR; Kinda know Pengo in real life and he is just as bad as he is online. We were connected via a former friend/his roommate at the time and he got that one to join a dogpiling of another friend. I stepped in to defend that friend and the target switched to me. We argued for days and I had to disengage because it got really personal since my friend knew me for a very long time-over a decade. (Funny enough, the language from my friend was actually very close to the floraverse dogpilings.) The sort of “toxic positivity” Pengo and co spread is truly heinous.

felt in my bones I should check this old blog. reading everything was just. appaling. he was always sorta quiet after the glip stuff initially so I never wouldve guessed he was such a shithead before all the discord leaks. shitty to see it wasnt just an online tough guy act.

I admit I haven't kept up with the glip stuff in a while but last I saw he had been kicked from the server. trouble in paradise I guess. I'd say he needs to seek professional help and I mean that in the nicest way possible but something tells me he doesnt wanna actually improve and I dunno. Be a decent person with empathy and not that fake empathy shit those toxic positivity fuckers like to spread. sorry you went through all that. I hope you're doing okay now
