Turquoise: What is something that you’re afraid to say out loud?

Iluka pondered the question for a moment. What was she afraid to say out loud? A lot of things. At the same time nothing. She didn’t have a problem with speaking her mind, but make it about herself and she’ll shut off. There were some things that were simply off limits.

“If I say it out loud, doesn’t that defeat the purpose?”

She raised a brow, before relaxing it. At some point during these random questions from random people she might as well be honest.

“I guess saying that I was wrong.”

And she didn’t mean about anything that had happened recently. Her eyes looked off to the side and she crossed her arms under her chest. The mere thought of the memory made her uncomfortable and upset.

“Are we done here?”

Lapis Lazuli: What is something about your life that you’ve been lying about?

Shane cringed, hard. He didn’t really like thinking about what he had lied about. Then again, what exactly was he lying about? Not much, really. He considered himself to be a pretty genuine guy, albeit pretty guarded.

“Not much that I have lied about, really.”

But, maybe deep down, he knew this was a lie too.

In many letters and talks with family, Shane would often say he was “fine.” Really though, he wasn’t fine. He was fighting with alcoholism and depression, that was obvious. They probably didn’t entirely believe him, but it got them off his back for a while.

Flower Festival: Rachel

[♫] — Max hadn’t seen Rachel since that night they spoke, so it felt a bit strange to be approaching her so suddenly after that period of nothingness. But as off as it might have felt, there was nothing he could do for it--- he was a busy man, after all, and so things like these were only to be expected.

But now that he knew where she worked, he decides to stop by the Bar & Grill while he made his rounds, offering her two yellow roses once he catches sight of her.

The previous explorers who found this island were able to escape through alternate means, which unfortunately left this peaceful monster village without a wedding!
