Unfortunately I don’t have a spare cable (and honestly, this thing has been on its last legs for a couple years, really, and I’m shocked it’s held on as long as it has). However my parents let me have their oldest scanner, which is only seven years old! I’m about to try that; I’ll try switching the ports around too. Thanks for the advice!
