This item's new design features the same functionality as the previous design but is meant to provide a more tactical look. The 10% OC/pepper spray also contains UV dye so that assailants can be identified by police. Upon direct contact with eyes, respiratory system and mucous membranes, the active ingredients in the pepper spray will cause eyes to slam shut, coughing, and an intense burning sensation to the skin. What is Mace?Mace is a shortened name for what was originally called Chemical Mace. Mace was an early type of aerosol self defense spray invented in the mid 1960’s. Mace was the first commercial product of its type and the original Mace formula was comprised of (CN) Tear Gas dissolved in solvents into an aerosol can. Now to finally put everything together. You want a HOT pepper spray with as much capsaicin in it as possible. Anything from .50 MC% and up should be fine.
