This slow cooker roast is incredibly flavorful and tender, making it a family favorite. The combination of ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, and pepperoncini peppers adds depth of flavor that will have everyone coming back for seconds.
Ingredients: 3-4 lbs beef chuck roast. 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix. 1 packet dry au jus gravy mix. 6-8 pepperoncini peppers. 1/2 cup unsalted butter.
Instructions: Put the beef chuck roast in the crock pot. Cover the roast with ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix. Sprinkle pepperoncinis on top of the roast. Put butter all around the roast. On low heat, cover and cook for 8 hours, or until roast is soft. Serve the meat with the slow cooker juices.
