ivy and ecco?
okay, so I just brainstormed something, and what if Ivy found Ecco at the Sirens and brought her back to life? everyone’s well aware that there’s “another fish in the sea” for jeremiah, and with him incarcerated, he doesn’t know of this. Ecco’s time had run out for jeremiah, and much like jerome with hostages, or anyone, he gets rid of them when they are no use to him. with this being said, Ecco is brought to life by ivy, and she’s still nuts, but has a loyalty to ivy. not only did she bring her back to life, but she also knows she will treat her better than jeremiah did, and which she recently recalled, he shot her. harley exsists, and the usual mad love storyline happens. this canon harley is playful, and as we were introduced as of this month last year, joker’s new girlfriend, punchline. so I was thinking, what if ivy had brought Ecco back to life, and gave her a new purpose. with jeremiah scattered, he rarely thinks of Ecco, leaving her to the hinges of his mind. over time ecco regains her mojo, being the stoic baddie we all loved in 4x17, and slowly becomes punchline. harley is running with jeremiah, and bat’s villain’s usual antics go awry. with ecco now being punchline, she has seperated with ivy, and becomes her own person. for once in her life she is serving for herself and only herself. harley and jeremiah have been together for a while now, and just like the events in the comics, they have a falling out, enter ecco.
it’s kinda a stretch and a total rebrand of ecco prior to what she originally was in the series, but my brain wanders.
