Headcanon that Bruce attends Duke's poetry slams

Bruce absolutely would! hes like "oh no I need to bond with my newest son, he likes this thing so I should go watch him do this thing"

idk how poetry slams work, but I assume it's structured like stand up comedy (I'm so sorry to people who like poetry slams) and I'm imagining Bruce sitting stoically in the middle of a room while duke does his act (??) and clapping the loudest at the end :D

eventually all the sibs go along with Bruce until the whole batfam is sitting there and everyone is looking at them weirdly

5. Who says ‘I love you’ first?

hmmmm. I think Hal says it first. However, I think Bruce realizes he’s in love before Hal does. It’s not that Bruce doesn’t like saying it, it’s just that he doesn’t think to say it? Like he just kinda thinks of it as a fact and forgets that Hal needs to hear it every now and then.

6. Who would they ask if they ever had a threesome?

I love the idea of superbatlantern, so I think they’d ask Clark.

22. Where does their first kiss happen?

Medbay after a near death experience because that’s what it takes for them to get their shit together. They both almost died but it’s Bruce who’s hella injured because he took a shot meant for Hal.

29. Why do they fall a little bit more in love?

AHHHH I love this question.

Bruce falls a little bit more in love with Hal every time Hal goes out of his way to interact with his kids. And every time Hal does something extremely kind for someone he barely knows. Bruce adores how kind Hal is.

Hal falls a little bit more in love with Bruce every time he realizes just how smart Bruce is. Like yeah he’s a great detective and tactician but sometimes he just whips out random knowledge about like astrophysics or some shit. Also he’s a huge nerd about Star Trek and knows hella lore which Hal thinks is very cute.

The gaang finding out about zukki/suzukka!

Ooooh, the best part about that is that the tree of them are busy people and they are so wrapped up in each other in their spare time they forget to tell their friends. So the rest of the Gaang finds out via the grape vine. 

It goes like this:

Ty Lee is the first person outside of the trio to find out and she lets the rest of the Kyoshi royal guard know what their leader is up to (not to be mean, she’s just super excited). The girls all write home to their friends like “Suki doing herself NICE”

So the entirety of Kyoshi island finds out. “Hey so Suki is doing the firelord.” “I thought she was with the avatar’s friend, the water boy” “yeah, him too. they are all banging each other” Someone there tells the fishermen they trade with, who in turn rely the gossip about the team avatar juicy new romance to their friends and family in cranefish town. (Aang and Katara are not there, but Sokka comes by for business and wonders why people keep high-fiving him) 

From there it spreads to Yu Dao. One of Toph’s student’s overhears and relies the info to her. 

Now, you know how in the telephone game the message tends to get distorted? Yeah well. The OT3 gets one fine morning a surprise Toph just BARGING IN through the palace yelling “WHAT DO YOU MEAN SOKKA’S MARRYING SPARKLES BECAUSE THE FIRELORD GOT SUKI PREGGO?? WHAT’S THE SENSE IN THAT???” 

Anyway, cue in Sokka scrambling up to write to Katara, and their dad because if that’s what Toph got, he doesn’t want to even know what the others will hear once it gets to them. 

Some official statements must also be released, so by the time Aang and Katara resurface from restoring some temple, most of the world already knows. She is not amused.

Could I possibly request something where Duke and Damian bond? They don't get much time in the comics beyond that last panel of Robin War, and I think it'd be cute to have a slightly (faking, 'cause he doesn't know how to 'emotion') grumpy Damian get dragged along by Duke to do stuff, not like with Dick and his ever cheeriness, but something light and refreshing.

I don’t know if it’s canon or just something that’s always been in the back of my head, but Duke is actually a really good artist.

Now, granted he leans a little more towards a pop art and cartoonish style while Damian’s is more heavily realistic. But it’s enough to get them both voluntold for a charity event. Basically they were both making pieces to be auctioned off, the proceeds for to local animal shelters.

And then the flood gates were opened.

Duke is the only person allowed anywhere near Damian’s sketchbook.

Damian’s actually started actively seeking Duke out for help with his works in progress if he feels like he needs an outside opinion.

The two of them get caught out and about quiet often either shopping for supplies or spending a free afternoon at one of the galleries around Gotham.

Honestly, Bruce was kind of worried if Damian was ever going to take to any of the other kids besides Dick, so even if he does prefer to try and keep his kids out of the tabloids as much as possible - He still has the picture of the two off them comparing paints together as one of the famed pictures on his desk.
