Does it pass?
It does! This episode is also notable in that it features the most female identifying characters with speaking roles to date. Padmé talks with the Queen early in the episode and well as Peppi later on. Ahsoka and Peppi team up to search for Jar Jar and Padmé. This is the fourth time Padmé has been captured, so that is getting a little old. It seems to happen in every episode that prominently features her. She’s hardly helpless, but it’s a trend. Ahsoka is quite the badass in this one. This episode has always been a favorite of mine, but I am partial to any episodes that get the whole PT trio (plus Ahsoka) together. It’s also always nice to see Naboo.
I loved Peppi Bow, she was such a badass, and suprisingly, I actually find Gungan culture quite interesting
Concept Art of Peppi Bow
Season 1, Episode 17 -- Blue Shadow Virus
In the original script of this episode where we see Peppi’s shaak poisoned from the water, it was planned that it actually be a nearby Gungan village that would be affected from virus coming downstream.
It is still somewhat referenced in the episode by Padme when she talks about the tense relations with the Gungans when they come across Peppi Bow.
