radio stations around the globe blast ACDC in his honor, every science/research facility takes the day to appreciate every stark-related discovery ever made within the past five decades(which takes them the whole day ofc), the children in the orphanages he used to hold & coddle draw pictures of him in chalk on the streets, NASA names a star after him- newly discovered, it's light found shortly after his had gone out, MIT students paint the arc reactor on the campus roof with administrative permission(tho they hadn't needed it)
but the ones who knew him best are elsewhere
peter parker shows up at the cabin tony built pepper, walking in to see rhodey and happy helping mrs. potts-stark put various celebratory dishes on the dinner table while harley bounces morgan off to the side, the two of them murmuring in low tones with the bots(brought lakeside for this special occasion) & FRIDAY(via morgan's starkwatch)
spiderman sets a bouquet of flowers in front of the empty seat at the head of the table, breathes out surrounded by the very few ppl in the world who understand, sits down and waits
eventually, after bruce has arrived with stephen and nebula in tow, they take their seats and pepper takes morgan and places her at the very front where flowers and a birthday cake with nearly fifty shining candles awaits
they all smile bc it's what tony would have wanted and, after she's taken a moment, morgan blows out the candles and says seven simple words
"Happy Birthday, Daddy, we love you 3000"
