Kid: it's almost been a year, I think, since we last RP'd them. and my WJ muse refuses to move on. He knows he should, but he will forever leave a candle burning

Kid: In the one IDW AU, tho. I still have him and Percy together--as an NPC thing--just because I don't want him pining forever on both verses

Kid: Also, because IF Percy does come back, then I can have at least one AU where it's not a painful reunion thing again

Kid: In the main Primeverse I have it as: they just saw each other after millions of years of being apart, but because of Percy's duties he had to go away again shortly thereafter

Kid: In which I assume there was a long, sad goodbye where Wheeljack was just "I wish you didn't have to go... but I'll be waiting for you when you get back"

Kid: "I've waited this long; I promise I can handle it"

Kid: he can't handle it, btw

Kid: I'm under the assumption, too, that a lot of time has passed and there hasn't been any communication between them. But he's still waiting. sadly.

Kid: and--we never finished the RP--but I will take the artistic liberty and say that Wheeljack hadn't quite told Percy about his feelings yet, so he doesn't even know if they're unrequited or not. :'J

/Only few cliks had passed before Drift landed in the previously set coordinates. There still was the risk that the Decepticon's might notice them as they were landing, but there's no fun without risk. Red nodded to Percy to go ahead and secure the perimeter around the ship while he stayed in the cockpit and checked everything twice. The system was on lockdown, camo working as intended and Percy was taking care of the additional security checks./

/Drift met with his partner outside, at the top of the mountain made of rocks and trash, towering over Calabi. At the bottom of the giant cavity there was the Decepticon base, or at least what was left of it (not like the Autobot HQ was in any better condition, both bases were worn out by the constant ambushes. Cons even moved their base around few times unlike Prime who wasn't afraid of the enemy). Artificially created hills around the facility made it easier to defend and patrol, but given the last Decepticon activity maybe they shouldn't worry about the latter too much. He looked at Perceptor and pulled out his binoculars to take a look at the area around the base himself./
