when you realize Percy and hook, and Annabeth and Emma are the same person.  Percy and hook love the sea and are good looking, funny, and charming. Anabeth and Emma are both blonde, witty, smart and extremely over protective friends and family, Oh and yeah they both have been to Hades and back for each other.

"Nico Di Angelo", said Dr.Scheur as he peered over his clip board at the happy couple -Solangelo 

But the couple did not look very happy right now. In fact,Nico looked downright grumpy,and Will...well,even he looked frustrated.

They had come here against Nico's will (sorry,bad pun).Will had noticed Nico squinting at the T.V when Star Wars was playing,and immediately used his Apollo powers to see whether Nico needed glasses.And surprise,suprise - he did.

Nevertheless, Nico avoided Will's prescriptions and diagnoses to his utter extent, and said that Will was being paranoid. It was obvious that Nico did not want glasses.

After trying and trying, Will decided to bring Nico to a mortal optician,to prove that he was not just being paranoid.

So there they were, sitting in front of Dr.Scheur, one frustrated,one grumpy.

"So, Nico, you've come here to see whether you need glasses, correct?"

"I don't need them", muttered Nico murderously under his breath.

Will side eyed Nico,a look that all too clearly said," Be polite".

"Sorry, doctor",said Will, " Nico here is a little grumpy about having to check his eyes ".

Understatement of the year,thought Will,at that moment perhaps more grumpy than Nico at that moment.

"Oh, don't worry, said the doctor kindly, " Lots of people don't want glasses,there may be a chance you don't need them".

Will interrupted with the statement that his dad was a doctor (easier than explaining God of Healing), and that he thought Nico needed glasses.(More like knew)

At that moment, Nico sent a contemptuous death glare his way. Obviously, he was more than a little grumpy, and Will had no doubt his mental list of Italian,Greek, and Latin,not to mention English profanities were being runthrough,alternating between cursing Will and the doctor.

"Alright", the doctor said,'Please sit on this chair, Nico "

Nico reluctantly sat down and leaned back as the doctor inspected his eyes. Nico did not miss the look that the doctor sent Will, and pouted even more.

Now it was time for the eye test."Nico,please read out the letters ", said the doctor.

Nico sent such a look at Will that he winced before proceeding to inform the doctor that he 'didn't know how to read English ', and that he," had a very old fashioned traditional father who taught him Greek".(Nico snorted so loudly at that one that he caught a weird look from the doctor and a dirty look from Will)

" Not to worry",said the doctor," I have an idea"

He then proceeded to pull out a board with apples and bananas on it. 

Nico sent a look at Will that screamed,"Are you kidding me",but,as usual,Will ignored him.

After a mortifying session of referring to the apples as bananas and oranges as mangoes, with Will and the doctor  wincing at every answer he gave,the doctor sat down and motioned for Nico to get off the chair.

As Nico and Will looked on expectantly at the doctor,the doctor took a sharp breath before saying,

" Slightly bad news,Nico, you do need glasses".

Nico swore heavily under his breath and Will looked at Nico with an I-told-you-so look.

"Low power,right"' Nico asked after he (finally) stopped swearing.

The doctor hesitated."3.5 and 3.75"

Nico continued swearing.

Nico and Will walked out of the clinic, Nico grumpier than  ever,and Will bright. Nico wore plain black square glasses that Will called cute and Nico dorky,and Will said dorky is cute,which shut Nico up.

Neverthless, Will was sure to hear a thousand complaints about the glasses later.

Café

Will was sitting across the table. He had ordered two coffees, and they were waiting for the order to arrive.

“So,” Nico asked,” This is a stereotypical date with two regular guys”.

“Yup”, Will replied,” You are officially going on a date with your boyfriend, whether you like it or not. Besides, it’s started, no point rebelling now”.

Nico laughed. It felt good to laugh at Will, with air rushing through his lungs, cleansing him and Will sending rays of warmth everywhere.

Ugh.

Nico mentally shook his head. That was the kind of romantic, sappy stuff that he only read in books. But, as he thought of romantic, sappy stuff, he remembered he was on a date, so he gathered up the courage to try and say what he was thinking.

“Uh, um— since this is a d-date and everything, shouldn’t we... we—you know (and totally succeeding)

“What?” asked Will, amused.

“Uh ...um.” Smooth, thought Nico.

“Shouldn’t we …’the couple thing” Nico burst out,” shouldn’t we ki- “.

Will reached out and pulled his face next to Nico’s with his fingers, touching lips, effectively shutting him up. It was nothing like he ever imagined, not wet, not soppy, not short, but a long warm kiss with a lot of sincerity and affection in it. Cold lips touched warm and the radiant love and warmth emanating from Will’s lips made Nico practically melt into his lips. They were in a true love story, thought Nico. All his life, this had never seemed possible, but with Will, anything was possible. They finally broke away when they heard a resounding crash.

They looked up to see a gobsmacked waitress holding up an empty tray, with two spilled broken glass cups of coffee on the floor. . They looked at each other and laughed, leaving Nico feeling warmer than ever before.

No but percy would be so angry if he found out New Rome University forced its potential students to go on A quest let alone THREE quests in order to attend!! He'd be like you're making people risk their lives for this shit????? No!!!! And he'd be shouting at the senate to change the rules abt this bc. Frankly. How many students do they even get. The Romans don't interact with the gods like ever? They have a different relationship than the Greeks do? Are they in the legion for 10 years because otherwise there's no chance in hell they'd ever get into university??????

Anyway percy wouldn't play along he'd fight the system that's that
