Percy, Duck, Harold

Percy -> Duck: Tries not to let his worries show, but is scared that he’ll abandon him out of his love for whatever lies beyond the horizon. Knows that he is a true friend through and through- though although they’re usually in sync, there are noticeable moments where he wishes he knew what the other is thinking.

Percy -> Harold: Knows him all too well. Despite being busy practically everywhere on the island, he knows that he’ll always be there for him in times of distress- he’s a constant. Can identify him in the sky in an instant- as if he were his favorite star. He won’t tell you that, though.

Duck -> Percy: Cares about his well-being deeply, to the point of standing up for him against the likes of their friends. Somewhat oblivious to his thoughts and feelings, but will always be on his side if needed.

Duck -> Harold: Is aware of his true nature via Percy, though very curious about his line of work- especially pertaining to the sea. Yearns to follow him, though it never goes beyond his dreams. Maybe they could be pen-pals.

Harold -> Percy: Thinks rather fondly of him, though he doesn’t mention it much in favor of ribbing him- as he usually does. The level of familiarity and closeness they share is irreplaceable.

Harold -> Duck: Amused by his enthusiasm and curiosity when being asked about his line of work, and finds him easy to strike an earnest conversation with.

Got asked abt this ship on the last post, doing Percy/Harold here!

ship—- (aaah plausible! amusing! and a very different flavor, but strongly so, and delicious all the same (i think my stomach is talking)! very intriguing dynamics to play with here!)

What made you ship it?

I probably considered them before and got asked abt it, but @/djs-sideblog-for-pog-trains’s various posts abt them also greatly helped the case for that ship. It’s taken me a long while to get to the point of saying I ship them (even as far as to question my stance on them right when I got the ask), but I think I lean in favor of it!

What are your favorite things about the ship?

Percy sure can make most folks blush riled up, but which character could be able to match that and trip up Percy themself? That lazywings whirlybird silly helicopter, of course! In some moments I feel they’re so alike??—- They get caught up in what they say and sometimes set themselves up for trouble, or they just spout cheeky things at each other and I roll my eyes at them (adoringly, mind y’all). While I don’t find it… wholesomely sweet, I do think it’s rather matched.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Are there any popular opinions about this ship? I’m not sure what to say—- other than it should be more recognized! Dare I say- top tier for Percy ships? Godspeed and smooth sailing to the rest of the shippers, you guys have refined taste. 🫡

Harold 1000% flirts to hell and back and Percy 1000% responds with being grumpy

(but hoenstly i also feel like he spends so much time pretending to be a simpleton that he only lets himself be proper grumpy aroumd ppl he loves/trusts n harold's pretty quick to figure that out lmao)
