Continued listening the audiobook of The Master And Margherita

Did some drawing

Read and annotated the 2nd canto of Dante's Inferno (I am having so much fun doing this re-reading @peregrination-studies. I'll never thank you enough for suggesting this)

Prepared the flowers for a jam I want to do

Hopefully later I'll get some time to write, at least some notes for the short story I was planning for this month.

Today I:

Attended a lecture on women in contemporary art hosted by a local museum

Took an art history extra credit quiz

Organized my to-do lists for the week

Slept

Practiced French on Duolingo

I’m still not feeling great, but I think I’ll be back on my feet with maybe just a day or two of rest and drinking tons of fluids. Fingers crossed! For now, I’m just enjoying watching the birds hop around in the trees outside.

The nearby botanical garden is one of my favorite places in the world!! No matter how many times I go, I’m always stunned by the sheer variety of plant life. Today I’m thankful for the botanical world as a whole and those who curate it for public enjoyment. (Old pics, good memories.)

Took notes on four lectures

Read for reading around the world (memoirs of a geisha)

Got new fabric for a dress!!

Reviewed syllabi and schedules for my new classes

Worked on the first project for technical writing

Breaking the hiatus because summer classes started up today! I also got a new job today, and I’m pretty stoked about it! OH and everyone say hello to the little cocoon dangling off the side of the garden! We haven’t named him yet and are open to any and all suggestions.

Wrote and submitted my natural hazards mini essays

Reviewed all the art content

Made some plans for Easter!

Read for reading around the world

Practiced french on Duolingo + practiced french conversations on my own

I started charting my reading around the world progress more seriously today and created a bunch of fun equations to auto-update my progress in google sheets. (It’s even color coded!) I’m falling behind a little bit because lately I’ve been reading so many books *not* related to reading around the world (oops), but I think I can still reach my goal by the end of the year!
