Perhaps not as many people were grief stricken over Goldenstar because he was already rapidly losing lives? So many cats were expecting his time to be up soon, and when it happened, they were sad and mourned him, but they'd processed most of their feelings. They just wish the best of him in StarClan now.
oo! i think you are absolutely right, and you have an excellent way of putting it into words. Goldenstar was old, and has been for a while, so in some ways, his death wasn't unexpected, nor was it even horrifically sad. he got to live a long life, happy with his husband and his kits.
Clarent: So yes, I do miss it. I miss the ones I knew before, not the loneliness between them. Because despite everything that's happened, I've loved every Bisharp I've had the luck of knowing.

A random headcanon: i like to think that Shark Bytes was written in honor of Shiver! Especially after watching this lyric video
General opinion of this character: i adore Shiver a lot! Their design is soo good i love that even if they're one of the more intimidating characters, they have plenty of silly moments and funny lines!
