Genuinely never thought of greyhounds existing as puppies before. Logically i know they exist as puppies at some point but i have only IRL ever met retired racers. To me, they just spring to life fully formed looking like noodle-deer creatures, ready to look sad at you and take a nap on your favorite couch spot.

greyhound puppies are so blessedly small and incredibly stupid compared to their adult forms, the fact that they are so rare is a travesty. if there's one good thing to come from the end of racing, it's that maybe we'll get more chances to see the Larval Form out in action.

please picture in your mind the scenario that occurred when one of my co-workers walked in to a building full of a hundred dog lovers with a tiny 2-month old greyhound puppy. everyone lost their minds. you've never heard so much baby-talk in your life.
