I don’t know what it is about Neon Waltz and psychedelic visuals, but they always seem so strangely soothing when paired with the band’s soaring psych-rock vibes...
As with ‘I Fall Asleep,’ the Scottish band’s new video for ‘Perfect Frame’ returns to the scene of beachside melancholy, swirling with grainy, kaleidoscopic visuals and retro motifs while backed by a rich blue sea as raging as the track’s powerful chorus.
Rather than sink into a pit of despair, though, it becomes a feverish trip into heartbreak, preferring to ride it out and to capture that brief moment before it slips through your fingers: ‘As the vulture waits/I will find a place/To sail the storm/Capture the perfect frame.’
