Tulip: For your birthday, what kind of cake do you ask for?I dont normally ask for cake for my birthday. it’s normally plain chocolate, but i like ice cream cakes, layer sponges, and chocolate ripple cakes more. i used to ask for the ice cream cakes with the dolls inside.
Poppy: What color was your childhood home?I had 6 childhood homes. the first was white with blue trim, the second/third were brick, the fourth was the first, the fifth was brick, the sixth is my house now, and it was white and it’s now off-white.

Heavenly hailstones have torn through your fur and skin, they’ve left you pock-marked and scarred.
Why do we look to the sky and lift our hands to address God? We’ve known that the clouds are not His home for quite some time.
We should stretch them out sideways instead, as far as they can reach. Heaven’s inhabitants cannot look at us for shame, not directly; only from the corner of their eyes.
Old habits die hard, and hard habits die old, as all things should. But we’ve been dying younger since Eve and Adam last drew breath.
It’s almost as if we’ve gotten increasingly impatient to leave these bodies. These bodies that hold so much more than the sum of parts put together.
The burden of boredom, the weight of weariness, the heaviness of hope.
