When I said it’s not (person’s) business and many guys pull it off well, (person) said, “Yeah, the gay ones.”

Note: Women are just as guilty at perpetuating toxic masculinity as men themselves.

This person is a very performative “ally” for lack of a better term ((person is not very enthusiastic and doesn’t seem to have very supportive opinions of homosexual people (and has atrocious opinions on every other flavor of queer)) but was supportive when I first (partially) came out. But it’s been made clear that (person) is not actually supportive and is an antagonist to homosexual people, because it’s easy to say one thing when actually standing for another, and the rest of the queer community. It’s also clear because (person) is a MAGA Trump voter and if you’re not an ally to the whole community (person has made it VERY ABUNDANTLY CLEAR that they’re not an ally to the whole community), you’re not an ally at all. I never had too much doubt that they weren’t even supportive of people who are homosexual while barely claiming they were, but it’s really been confirmed time and time again.
