8-year-old Aigis has just been dismissed from her classes and is now standing by the school gates of Harpwood Elementary, waiting for her father to pick her u--

Oh wait, her father just informed her yesterday that he’ll be working overtime today, and so he wouldn’t be the one to walk her home. However, he did hired someone to do that and watch over her for the time being.

The girl would be lying if she says she wasn’t disappointed, she understands that her father is busy, but still....

Their neighbor back at the condominiums was said to be the one that her father picked for the job, if she remembers correctly, it was a woman who goes by the name, Franziska von Karma, a very prestigious prosecutor.

She doesn’t know how her father managed to hire a prosecutor for a babysitter, surely that woman had better errands to attend to than to keep a lonely child company, but decides not to question it.

Aigis heaves a small sigh as she look around in the crowd to look for the adult.
