2. how did you discover your sexuality? I mean bold of you to assume my sexuality has been discovered?? but yeah like I had to work through a lot of the gender stuff before I could even try to think about sexuality without hitting just a big brick wall because I couldn’t bear the thought of someone being attracted to me while thinking of me as a girl but also I didn’t know that that’s... what that was... anyway I’m bi-ish, v queer, and I kinda identify w being both demisexual and demiromantic but that’s like not a Big Important Label for me the way it is for some folks. I’m dating a trans girl right now and she is so beautiful :)

20. your favorite lgbt+ movie or show? uhhh wow I watch so few things um the second season of Anne with an E meant a LOT to me! queer characters in period pieces are just e v e r y t h i n g especially in like ~wholesome kids’ stories~ that people already know and love, and like it doesn’t shy away from period-typical queerphobia but it also gives its queer characters positive arcs and I’m v v emotional

To elaborate for a previous anon, aesthetic attraction is one of my favorite things. The simple way to say it is: I understand what people say when they call someone hot, and in many cases I agree that the person is extremely nice looking, I just don't want to have sex with them. Maybe it's like enjoying listening to music, but not wanting to play it myself? Obviously, no simile is perfect, but hopefully that makes some sense.
