that swedish study actually doesn’t show what people claim it does, and the author is annoyed at conservatives for misquoting her study. all it was demonstrating is that trans people would benefit from therapy even post-transition to talk about things like coming out, passing, dating, oppression, etc.

Chicken nugget was intersex?
Perhaps! It’s difficult to tell based on the few pictures I’ve seen. Spicebush swallowtails are dimorphic, meaning males and females look different, which may explain Chicken Nugget’s asymmetrical wings.
As this post points out, however, the coloring on CN’s forewings is more symmetrical than its hindwings, so it could be that one of its wings got squished as it was trying to emerge from its chrysalis. The tail’s shape indicates this is a good possibility, but the overall shape and coloring of the left hindwing still look masculine to me.
In any case, definitely a special butterfly, and there are lots of other gynandromorph bugs out there.
