a bunch of fun facts about my interpretation of guest1337 + some extras under the cut !! mainly forsaken, but draws heavily from (original) tlg lore
( i guess by that logic these technically count as guest1337 headcanons ? gulp!.. )
✪ !! some lighthearted facts about my guest !! ✪
- somewhere in his early- to mid-forties
- he has the most awful RBF and looks hella intimidating but is actually very much a sweetheart
- very protective of the other survivors, especially the younger survivors and survivors who have a harder time protecting themselves (noob, elliot, etc.)
- the most patient and level-headed of all the survivors, especially under pressure. most likely to keep his head in a crisis.
- but oh when he gets upset? he gets UPSET.
- tries to make sure everyone is taking care of themselves properly and is open/honest with their feelings
- need advice or just a listening ear? he’s your guy.
- “be strong. always be strong.” but not in a way that forces you to bottle up your feelings; rather, acknowledging that pain and fear are powerful motivators to better yourself and that as long as you’re trying, that’s what matters.
- “doing it afraid is just as brave.”
- “death before dishonor.”
- has taught the survivalists basic self-defense so they can defend themselves in rounds.
- doesn’t drink— he’s adamant on having a clear head should danger suddenly arrive. however, he has a crippling coffee addiction. he takes it black.
- feels paternal especially towards the younger survivors. this means he calls all of them “kid” and “kiddo”… also dad jokes UP THE WAZOO!! once you become a father, you never stop being one.
- he has a warm, deep belly laugh.
- pretty handsy with those he cares about. his love language is physical touch. you just KNO he gives the best bear hugs
- insanely good at the board game “battleship”. used to play it a lot with his daughter
- used to do pushups with charlotte on his back
- can pick up all the other survivors
- can empathize a lot with 007n7—at the end of the day, your past doesn’t define you. besides, they’re both fathers. guest knows the power children have to change you.

✪ !! some more angsty facts about my guest !! ✪
- the killers are hardest on guest and shed because they’re the two survivors that refuse to show fear/fight back the hardest
- highly self-sacrificial. a large part of his identity stems from his ability to protect those he loves. if he can’t do that… who is he? he’s already failed once. he won’t fail again. he will do his best to keep the ones he loves safe, whatever the cost to himself.
- lost his eye in the military a few years before being forsaken— he was shanked in basic by his childhood bullies. he can’t even open it properly, much less see out of it well
- he has partial face paralysis and some hearing loss from the explosion that brought him to Forsaken. sometimes has to ask people to repeat themselves.
- ptsd and anxiety. heavily dislikes loud noises and sudden movements (for example, when chance’s gun explodes). the underground war map takes a huge toll on him.
- if there’s one thing he likes about rounds, it’s that they keep his mind occupied. physical pain to distract himself from the mental.
- gets anxious and restless when left alone with his thoughts for too long. pacing, bouncy leg, mumbling to himself.
- he saw matt get shot, and didn’t live long enough to see matt recover. he thinks matt is dead, and he’s never forgiven himself for it.
- he wears his wedding ring on a chain and one set of matt’s dog tags around his neck, tucked safely under his tactical vest. he hears their voices in his head before battle. daisy, charlotte, and matt. his wife, his daughter, and his dearest friend. he’s terrified of forgetting their faces.
- he can still feel the heat of the grenade blast. in quiet moments, his hand twitches, fingers curled around a pin that’s no longer there. the last few seconds of his life loop in his head like a broken film reel. the pain. the fire. the suffocating silence afterwards. he wonders if his wife and daughter think about him often.

my sprout headcanons:
can also be drawn with a snoot,, can’t decide which one i like better so i’ll probs be using both interchangeably
he's transmasc and uses he/they pronouns peace and love
his striped scarf was a gift from sam !! he hates when people touch it or pull on it . it has a lot of sentimental value.
while he and cosmo are both good at cooking/baking, sprout prefers to cook while cosmo prefers to bake.
he blooms in late spring/early summer. his body blooms with flowers, and his leaves/hair/tail get longer and disheveled. he also tends to be a bit more drained as he's expending all his energy growing flowers n extra leaves (give that man a GOOD pruning)
he tends to value honesty and practicality over politeness and pleasantries, often leading to him seeming pushy at best and even unkind or overbearing at the worst, but he has good intentions and genuinely cares for the well-being of everyone around him
^^ he's weirdly intense about others taking proper care of themselves/being kind to themselves but doesn't come anywhere CLOSE to applying that same mentality to himself (he's exhausted and a bit high-strung from worrying about everyone constantly, and on runs he's often one minor inconvenience away from losing his shit)
he also has the most awful resting bitch face. always has to make an active attempt to look friendlier/more approachable, esp. when he worked with children.
honestly doesn't really care about what you think about him; talk shit about him all you want. but the second you make one remark of the sort about his friends, you're DEAD.
his passive also makes me think his senses are unusually good, so he holds particular distaste for anything overwhelming in terms of scent, taste, sound, etc. it's overstimulating.
he was an absolute menace to deal with as a child. he was bratty, rebellious, and not nearly as mature or put-together as he is now. props to sam for dealing with him
anyways 🙏 i'm pretty damn proud of this . it took me a bit but i've finally got my interpretation of him down and i think he looks very adorable... very babygirl very pookie . he's on track to be my first main if i can actually like. lock in long enough to focus on playing dw lolz
