It’d been a long week. Attending meetings with his father took a lot of out Roderich. So, just as he typically did after long weeks such as these, he’d invited himself into his cousin’s home. She hadn’t been home when Roderich arrived, so he’d let himself in and now was enjoying a cup of tea in her living room, reading a book as he waited for her to return.
"Do you think I’m totally irresponsible?”
“Not particularly. Why? What did you do?” Claude was busy washing dirty glasses from the previous night, stacking them up in the cupboard. “Besides, you’re a grown adult. I’d think you would be plenty responsible.”
[wheezes] FRANCISCO- [she obviously ran down here] [which was a terrible mistake] I require... large boxes... [huff] to be lifted.
Dios mio--! [fret fret] Si, si, I can help, but sit down first! You look like you might pass out! [ushers her to a chair] Here, let me get you water--
"I heard it was someone's birthday!"
Lilli smiled brightly at the woman, “you heard right, Miss Frans-si-Fransisi-” She sighed and gave up. “It’s my birthday today. I’m seven!”

“Uhm…Excuse me? Costume shopping...” He looks up into the air and ponders it. “Maybe I’d be a good....vampire, or zombie maybe? I’ve never dressed up for Halloween before.”
"This place... is a mess."
Francisco looked up from what he was doing, then let out a hearty laugh. “Ah, it is, isn’t it?” He wiped dust and sweat from his brow with the back of his hand and grinned. “But doesn’t that just mean it’s well used?”
"AHEM--"
“What--”

"Well well well. SOMEONE certainly looks like he's having a blast."
Roderich rolled his eyes ever so slightly with a huff, adjusting his glasses with the tip of his finger. “You know I dislike events such as this, Franziska.”
