Whumper Weekly, Fire series: Burning Gag
This method is best used when a talkative whumpee just won’t shut up. Maybe you’ve took their right to talk and want them to speak only when spoken to or maybe they aren’t allowed to speak at all. Perhaps they just keep insulting you or they speak disrespectfully. Whatever the case this should fix your problem very quickly. Take a pair of tongs and heat up a pice of coal, this is best done by lighting a fire, perhaps cooking something on it and then taking a pice of charcoal and shoving it in your whumpees mouth. Once you have the coal in their mouth force a cloth between their teeth and tie it around their head. Now you have a burning gag! There’s many things this can be used for but the most noticeable would be burning the inside of your whumpees mouth. This can cause them to no longer be able to speak because of damage, as well as create an agonizing pain as they lose their ability to communicate. For some whumpers this might be worth it, especially because when you release them or if they get rescued they can’t communicate with their family, friends, or rescuers without writing or learning sign language. The next thing this can be used for is torture rather then to remove their speech. You can put the coal and gag in your whumpees mouth and sit back to listen to them scream. The mouth is rather sensitive, especially to things like temperature. This could cause extreme discomfort and even soot and char to form on their teeth or go down their throat, not to mention the injuries. However you use this, be creative, have fun! And remember, your whumpee is yours. You don’t have to worry about how it will impact them later if you never let them escape.
