Right so as someone with child-bearing capabilities who was born, raised, and currently lives in Texas, I’ve kept my mouth shut about all of the well-intentioned but ultimately obtuse bullshit my college/California friends have posted on social media about the heartbeat bill, but BY FAR my favorite bit of tone-deafness from the past few days came from a woman I overheard on the street yesterday. She said “I love it out here, but I just couldn’t live in Texas because weed isn’t legal.” Dude. Read the room.
