where are you getting the voter fraud thing from in the E/R vs bilbo thorin stuff? just curious

Oh, not in this particular match-up (to my knowledge 👀), but there was apparently voter fraud committed by the OFMD fans (here and here) and I just find that extremely funny.

As a Chicagoan, I also find the poll mods blatant acceptance of said voter fraud to be perfect. If E/R advances to the next round, I’m going to have to pop to the cemetery and start registering dead people for tumblr accounts.

I don't think i ever told you this but your last posts reminded me: I watched your tftbl let's play years ago(but years after you posted them) and it was so satisfying to hear someone play who got what I loved about rhys and I loved all your opinions and I found the slytherin & hufflepuff routes so cool and I rewatch it all every once in a while and yeah idk thanks! <3

(also I've seen all your borderlands vids tftbl or not and you're both great at making fanvids and a great commentator! <3)

It’s funny because I know SO MUCH about the Borderlands series (did u know that the “psychos” might be like that because of sleep deprivation due to Pandora’s 90 hour day cycle?) but I forgot so many details of like... just how fucking GOOD the performances are in this. Fiona and Sasha in particular just have amazing chemistry, and Rhys continues to astound with the nuance of the performance. UGH its SO GOOD.

It’s 2021, everyone should replay TFTBL.

Hi!!! See, I think a summer birthday makes perfect sense for Serena, but I see her as a Leo (dominating personality, prideful, but generous and warm) instead of a Cancer. I think Chuck would fit best as a Gemini (witty, cunning, two-faced) lmao. Nate is tough...Maybe Pisces (kind, sympathetic, escapist, easily led)? Because I also think late winter/early spring bday really works for Nate too, they just had it in the wrong month.

I see how in terms of Madeleine especially he operates on a gut sense of This Is Wrong--at the same time, he really doesn't *believe* in believing his own moral judgment. But I could imagine a horrible twisted burned Gryffindor in there, crushing his instincts because he's a "miserable" and Society Knows Best.

When he denounces Madeleine and the letter comes back that he's crazy, or when he writes his notes for the improvement of the service and the conclusion of everyone including Valjean was that he was crazy... he's used to being told any instincts that question the status quo are wrong and aberrant, and he's used to internalizing that. So yeah, I can see it!

God. Every time I think I think my heart can't break for Javert.D:

ETA: No one could possibly hate being sorted into Gryffindor House more than Javert would hate it.

Yeah, “I’m not saying Cosette should have been aborted, that would be Fantine’s decision, but everything would have been better if she had been” is an Incredibly Spicy Take, to be sure! It’s from frockflicks.com’s review of the Beeb’s Les Mis. Which I really did not expect to be Like That, most of the website is them voicing justifiable gripes about Beachy Waves Hair In Costume Dramas, or Mediaeval Costumes That Just Have Lacing All Over Them For No Reason. Plus pointing out some interesting things that I hadn’t noticed before, like how frequently costumers use sari fabric as a cheap way to get embroidery, even when that means having your 15th century monarchs dressed head to toe in paisley. And then... this.
